It must be said, that anyone who calls themselves a Roman Catholic has either knowingly or unknowingly subscribed to the two ex cathedra dogmas concerning Mary, neither of which has any basis in Scripture, both being mandated by the popes as necessary to accept before one can claim to be a Catholic: her immaculate conception and her bodily assumption to heaven. Becoming familiar with how they reverence and adore Mary is to see how far they have moved into idolatry and heresy.

My Pope is Jesus Christ for he is the head of the church and not some dude or dudette.

The body from Mary was used by the Son of God to walk on the Earth. The son of God did not come from the union of God and Mary.

The Son of God was at the beginning. It was the Son of God who created everything.

God the Holy Spirit and Mary produced a body used by the Son of God.

Neither! It is a ridiculously obvious question, with an obvious answer. And you're not going to trap me in anything because I'm not going to waste my time with it.

Because that is what Jesus would do. And mankind has always listened to the adversary's whisperings more than God.

Internet jockeys don't have any more right to declare their vicarship over dogma any more than an official hirearchy. But they do it any way. People are the same.

Time and time again, hypocrisy is what Jesus railed against. Within limits, it wasn't getting things wrong, we all do and can't possibly have it all right. It was the hypocrisy.

In the real world, my recent experiences have crammed this down my throat. I ignored the word of God spoken almost directly to me years ago from a family member when it comes to forgiveness. Thank the lord, I woke up before deaths all around me, soon enough to save my soul (I hope) and in time to witness another's soul salvation (I believe). But it is a heavy burden I will carry that my heart was hardened for so long. One I will carry to my own grave.

I tell whomever will listen, as an older person. Listen to the Lord when he says Judge not lest ye be judged. It does not mean not to have judgement, but it means what it says.

We are all clay. You do not read all in hearts, you can not comprehend as much as you think, and you are not as free of pride as you think. That is why God is God.

Genesis 1:2, john 4:24. luke 1:35. The spirit is God the Father of Jesus the Son of God by spirit, Son of man by flesh through the chosen, pure instrument, mary.
 
I guess we're going to squabble about who Mary is for the Orthodox and Catholic belief that she is the Mother of God?

Jesus is the Logos, the Word of God.

John 1:1 NKJV
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God.

Jesus is the Word of God and through Jesus everything we see in Creation was made as spoken by God. The Logos has no mother as He was there in the beginning.

John 1:14-15 NKJV
14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. 15 John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.’”

Jesus Christ came in human form to be the Testator of the New Testament through a virgin birth. The Logos became flesh and dwelt among us. So for the human form of the Logos, He was born of the virgin Mary (not a perpetual virgin nor is she sinless) and the Spirit of God. He assumed human form and experienced all of the temptations and resisted as the only Man able to fulfill the entirety of the Law and for the ability to be our High King and Priest. As there was a 1st Adam who brought sin and death (of anything) into the world, the 2nd Adam came to reconcile mankind back to God from the fall in the Garden.

The Logos becoming flesh does not give God a mother. Why? Because Jesus is still the Logos who has existed since the beginning of existence. Mary is the mother of Jesus in human form, but to call her Mother of God is not biblical. Ie the concept of Theotokos which by direct definition as "God-bearer," "Birth-Giver of God," and "the one who gives birth to God as literal translation and the more loosely held translation as "Mother of God" are all inaccurate as God has no mother. She gave birth to the Logos/Word in human form, but she was not the mother of God as that would place her before God in the beginning which is inaccurate and unscriptural.

Romans 3:10-12

There are many other doctrines about Mary that are also false. Its not hate to point out what Satan is doing, its not hate to shine a light on the evil people do. But i do understand there are those who hate the Truth from God and will call anyone who shines a light on their lies a hater of that person or church.

Be very careful who you are attacking for you could find yourself attacking God.
 
How about the Prayer "Hail Mary"?

Look at the Lord's prayer, it starts out with "Our Father". When we pray the Lord's prayer we are praying to God by saying "Our Father".

Look at the Hail Mary. It starts out with "Hail Mary". When you pray the "Hail Mary" you are praying to Mary by saying "Hail Mary".

Exodus 20:3

By praying to Mary the Catholics are making Mary their god.

How much more do you need to understand Catholics have been deceived into following Mary as their god? No one who prays the "Hail Mary" can ever call themselves a True Child of God. So why are you defending the Catholics who we do know Worship Mary as a god?
 
Also, every time a Catholic goes to confession the Catholic Priest tells then to pray the "Hail Mary" 50 times for the forgiveness of their sins.

WHY?

Its because the Catholics do believe Mary is equal to God!

May God have mercy on their souls.
