I wish! LOL No, you report every dime that comes across your counter, THEN you try to get some help from listing everything it cost you to be in business.
Oh. Ok. I do see your point, then.

I like Sander's proposed tax rate for $1 - $18,450: 10%

It can be improved though...here's how...$1 and up: 10%

Of all the people you, as a Christian should support a lower and a flat tax rate. Why? Simply because the less money you you give in taxes, the more money you have in your pocket.

And since you are a believer, then you are a generous person, unlike the other greedy people...which means, now you have more money to give to the Church and help the Church help the poor and needy as you want to.

Sure, the greedy world will have more money in its pockets too, and it'll do whatever it does with it. However, that shouldn't be your concern, right? You're always wanting to follow the Bible and live according to God's word. And whatever money you do get in your pocket, you do the best with it to help the Church. And even though the greedy may cheat on their taxes, you don't...because you want to "give to Cesar what is Cesar's".

So regardless of your income, if Cesar taxes you 10%, you will have the rest 90% to cover your expenses, and for doing God's work. And if your Christian brother/sister makes $40K, or $400K, or $4 million+ yearly, imagine how much more he/she can give (with his 90%) to the Church in obedience and with a cheerful heart.

Now, if part of your tax money is currently going out to help the poor (welfare), do you let it go as a cheerful giver? Or if part of your tax money that goes out to help the poor includes promoting non-Christian ideals, do you still want the government...instead of the Church...to decide how to use your money for welfare? Probably not.

So, yeah, its better if you and your wealthier and poorer Christian brothers and sisters have a flat tax rate...and even better if its low. Because this way you and they can give more to the Church both obediently and cheerfully.

Godgivesmestrength...yes, yes...truly the LORD does love every person..but, sadly, every person does not love the LORD. IT's been that way for thousands of years. If you read the old testament...when the Hebrew children left Egypt and 'the LORD" moved them into the promised land...there were specific reasons that certain 'illegals" had to be dealt with, by GOD Himself. There is a much bigger picture here. No other 'religion" on earth builds 'satellites" like muslims...to conquer, divide, spread and multiply their evil Islamic intentions. Even King Solomon, being 'politically correct"..failed miserably at keeping his distance from pagan females..and the end result was disastrous...physically and spiritually. Love, LOVE, LOVE went out with the Beatles, as far as your personal viewpoint. Since when do you speak for GOD by telling us that 'GOD wouldn't hate Muslims and get rid of them"? As a whole, Islamic muslims do not look to change to CHRISTIANITY...they force their evil 'religion" onto others. Apparently you have not read the old testament at all..for it is very plain to see how GOD made the rules for HIS chosen people to live daily and not mingle with the pagan evil cultures and societies around them. Why don't you take a short vacation to the outskirts of Detroit, Michigan where the biggest population of Muslims outside of the Middle East live, or, if you dare, to the outskirts of Belgium and start to share your philosophy of GOD loving them (not allah) and see where it gets you. I would love to see if those muslims would embrace you, tell you that Allah loves you and would never get rid of you. Sadly, you would end up on a list of missing persons, or worse, show up in a beheading video.

I assume you have to be a little smarter than to think that Bernie will keep his promises any better than Barry has.
You're definitely right in being cautious on the promises of what politicians make.

I have never had a significant amount of faith in any presidential candidate in my life time (though I am young) until Bernie Sanders. He could prove to be as most other presidents were and not follow through with his word. However, his resume as a politician shows me he is a man of integrity and if he can't get his plan passed, he'll do everything in his ability to.

That is something Trump can't buy... integrity.

that would be great, if the poor could take advantage of all the same tax shelters that the wealthy have. it's a fact that beneath certain income & investment levels, there are a lot of financial "tools" to net you higher interest and lower taxes that are just plain not available until you're richer.
those are things that a guy making anywhere near the median income has no access to, so with a flat tax, the rich keep getting richer, because they can hide their wealth, and the poor keep getting poorer, because they can't.

the graduated tax system we have isn't in place because people are stupid. it's been thought out and calculated. wealth isn't linear.
Why would "the poor" even consider trying to "shelter" money when they don't have to pay a dime, anyway?

And, of course financial institutions give breaks to people who hand then hundreds of thousands (or millions) at one simple transaction. To get the same money from you or me, they would have to pay a whole building full of employees to process and handle our few hundred bucks at a time........ not to mention all the consolidation and tracking of all our individual checking and savings accounts. That all costs them a lot of money every single payday, just for us to have the convenience of banking there.

It's crazy to think they wouldn't show preferential treatment to just one customer who would eliminate all the hassles they have to go through with our measly little deposits and constant withdrawals in just one 10 minute transaction. And those big guys usually let their money just sit there for half a year or more.

I made enough money to get a very small percentage of those perks, but I sure didn't get what the big money gets... and deserves. But, I never whined about it. I went back to work, and made a few thousand more that day.

This is why he terrifies me.

A socialist that can be bought is, at least, an inconsistent socialist.

it's not "unchristian" to have some type of border control.

I can't just fly over to america and decide to live and work there can I, I would actually have to have $1 million dollars in capital I believe to even qualify for a permanent visa.

So why can a guy from mexico who also wants to work in america be allowed to just walk over the border for nothing and suddenly be granted citizenship.

it doesn't work that way, these are "economic migrants" there aren't even any wars in south america to qualify a "refugee" scenario

We are told to respect the rules of the land and there is nothing wrong with borders

I keep thinking about Trump with this, 'Conservative Spring', sort of like 'Arab Spring', and will it be just as bad. All the revolutions in the World is it to line us up for One World Government?

I may not reply further, I just dropped by to answer an PM.

What Some people seem to be forgetting is: the reason we can't condemn a whole religion, i.e. Islam, is because this country was Founded on the principle of Freedom of Religion! Hunt down the terrorists, not everyone who has the same religion as them!

Something needs to be done. Our country is falling apart. No values, no morals, bombings. Is any place safe these days? I have never seen our nation as bad as it is now. I feel for my grandchildren. I hope someone can change this mess. Maybe we as a nation need to get on our knees more. Maybe the Lord will turn things around. Tear down some strongholds, on and on.

On O'Reilly tonight, Trump said "I don't regret it, it's the way it is".
This was his response to his writing checks to Hillary.

Actually, our country was founded on a supposed belief in the Judeo Christian God, and our right to worship Him without Government interference. (Quite a large difference from what some of us have tried to make it become, an "anything goes" nation.)

I just see this deportation in my eyes as complete chaos, families torn apart.
Hi,

Simple question I like to ask when these topics come up...

How would YOU solve these issues?

It's all too easy for us to sit back and be the arm chair quarterbacks.... but what if - they actually called YOU into the game?
