Friends that aren't single are very rarely helpful for those that are I have learned from experience lol.

EDIT: I should note; at least on the subject of finding a date/boyfriend/girlfriend. Also for that matter single friends are very rarely helpful I have noticed from experience too lol.

Haha Exactly. some ppl are very determined =P And I read all the posts here and like people have said it has been alot of bashing back and forth not just shawn being forward about his thoughts but also him getting alot of crap so I dont think anyone is innocent here =) We should just drop it and move on =)

Same to you my Brother, I love your old school values (because they mostly resonate with mine) and you have my respect as well. That's pretty awesome to retire at 51 dang....you must have planned very well...most people now a days are still working at that age b/c we all know social security is really social insecurity...but that's another topic...let me stay on track...here....

We're all good. Close it if you want to. I cannot stand abuse and arrogance. And Shawn was rude to a poster here. Very rude. I will always stand up against arrogance. If that gets me banned then so be it. Mods on here know me better. Shawn has a history on here. But I have nothing more to say.People on here know me, I don't start arguments,ever,but I will stand for what I believe.
 
I have a question for everyone:

How do you show love to an abusive controlling husband and his wife, who is the victim?

Especially when the husband and the wife attack others?

And especially when I get the impression that the guy will not listen to reason regarding his problems nor his wife?

Both of them need help.

This is a frustrating situation for me to read.

Lets shake paws er hands and move on. You get more flies with honey.You may have good points in what you say but if you put it across in the wrong way no one will listen. Now lets find something we can agree on for the next discussion.

I cant stand arrogance either but he wasnt rude just open and opinionated/honest. if you think that is rude well oh well...Some mods and people know me on here and they know Im not a rude person just easily gets defensive and my husband is amazing just has strong opinions against women who think men should be this this and this...

Somehow, I don't think any of this is what he envisioned when he made this thread.

Although this is always a hot topic whenever it resurfaces and, unfortunately, almost always ends in the same result.

I'm with you, Kayla. Abuse and arrogance make me nuts. And I love that you always stand up for what you believe. :) I just wonder why some of the adults here, refuse to act like adults. :(

Look I sure don't agree with the womens lib attitude. My mom was a stay at home mom,and an amazing woman. Strong opinions are fine...I don't want to get back into it. Ive seen a lot of abuse and arrogance against women in my family.Im sensitive to it. He has strong opinions, so do I. Lets just chill and find something we agree on.

Yeah I get that, and also people on the forums same as here has a tendency to get very offended or defensive instead of doing the christian thing and just saying thats your opinion, nice, this is mine. =) Im guilty of that as well =P but luckily we can move on now ^_^ it was an interesting topic tho. Wonder what would happen if women actually became like that in todays society hmm..

Three different times in my life I saw a man hitting "his" woman. On all three occasions I stepped in to defend the woman and all three times I was met with resistance from her. Three different couples, three different situations, same results. My hands are washed of that nonsense.

How do you help them? Prayer and firearms training sounds like a good tangent.

I don't know but I think its time to share recipes and cleaning tips,get this thread in a good direction. :) Baking soda cleans gunk under stove burners like a dream. Now your turn...
