Thank God none of those hyper grace folks are here.
Do you agree with this?
But if you are led by the spirit you are not under lawgal5:18
If you give me the answer I think you might, I will quote the two preceding verses
Thank God none of those hyper grace folks are here.
You said Christ came so we could take the worst sin known to mankind and throw at him and he died for them so God could not hold them against us.
so then how could we ever lose salvation..
That makes no sense. Either he died for the worst of the worst.. Or he did not.. Which is it?
Thank God none of those hyper grace folks are here.
Do you agree with this?
But if you are led by the spirit you are not under lawgal5:18
If you give me the answer I think you might, I will quote the two preceding verses
I'd say you and Grace777 qualify.
Do you believe you "get" forgiveness or that you "have" forgiveness?
So like yesterday you duck answering the question
Seems to me if you have such great knowledge of the gospel that few on this website seem to have you would answer the question
I answered yours yesterday btw
You'd say? Who are you?
Thats alright, I understand why you won't answer the question, and so do you.
I am staggard at your arrogance. Here is wikipedia definition of the word repentance
Repentance, which literally means to turn, is the activity of reviewing one's actions and feeling contrition or regret for past wrongs.
It generally involves a commitment to personal change and the resolve to live a more responsible and humane life. The practice of repentance plays an important role in the soteriological doctrines of the world's major religions where it is considered necessary for the attainment of salvation.
Now you can lie about language but it is pointless. It saddens me that you would lie, because that is a sin.
How can I have any respect for you if you resort to such strategies. It makes the whole basis of where you stand irrelevant.
I repeat I answered it yesterday
But this sums you people up. You only want half a message, as soon as verses are put before you you don't like you gave to just ignore them.
Well the message comes as a whole, you cant just pick out bits you like and ignore the rest.
So your silence shows you dont understand the whole message doesn't it
There is certainly a lot of arrogance in these hyper grace folk and a lot of lying from one of them in particular
Do you agree with this?
But if you are led by the spirit you are not under lawgal5:18
If you give me the answer I think you might, I will quote the two preceding verses
why do people think they know what everyone is going to say.
And we wonder why there is so much division.
Your looking for people to mess up. I think you have lost it.
Just an honest observation
The word "repent" is not even the bible as defined there..
If it were an honest observation you would have applied it to yourself, not projected it onto another.
Well I am sure it I apparent to all apart from your little clique that you cannot answer questions put to you concerning scripture.
So I repeat, you dont understand the whole message
How do you deflect from that uncomfortable truth?
Attack me personally I guess
There is a simple mistake here. If I take one word used in a culture and say that defines its meaning biblically I am missing the point.
"If anyone thoughtlessly takes an oath to do anything, whether good or evil (in any matter one might carelessly swear about) even though they are unaware of it, but then they learn of it and realize their guilt— when anyone becomes aware that they are guilty in any of these matters, they must confess in what way they have sinned. As a penalty for the sin they have committed, they must bring to the Lord a female lamb or goat from the flock as a sin offering; and the priest shall make atonement for them for their sin."
Lev 5:4-6
In this way the priest will make atonement for them before the Lord, and they will be forgiven for any of the things they did that made them guilty.
Lev 6:7
The term repentance or idea comes from an acknowledgement of guilt and an action that results.
In the law it was bringing the appropriate animal to be sacrificed.
For Nineveh it was sackcloth and ashes or David over his sin with Bathsheba.
In terms of bringing an issue we feel strongly about to the Lord, there is fasting. This is showing to the Lord this issue is important to us, and we want to focus on it.
Then Jacob tore his clothes, put on sackcloth and mourned for his son many days.
Gen 37:34
Then Joshua tore his clothes and fell facedown to the ground before the ark of the Lord, remaining there till evening. The elders of Israel did the same, and sprinkled dust on their heads.
Joshua 7:6
As old as Israel and christianity is, this has been a sign of distress, and calling to God.
Now you dishonour the sincerity of people and what simple words in these traditions mean. But that means nothing to you.
Because you have constructed as set of ideas that work and you will force the bible to support it.
