I believe that a person who accepts Jesus as their Savior and live up to the light they know and love and obey God will go to heaven and I do believe there are many Catholics that fit that description. God knows what is on a persons heart the rest of us are just poor guessers.
All that is required to have eternal life is a biblically correct knowledge of Jesus Christ. This cannot be achieved through church doctrine but through the sincere milk of the word of God and the primary ministry of the Holy Spirit.
We are to be witnesses to what Jesus has done for us not for our church. Testify if Gods saving grace. Admit that you are not worthy of salvation but through the love of God Jesus has forgiven you and promised to you eternal life. Jesus will do the same for whosoever will believe upon Him.
Make no doubt about it Rome does not teach this and those who are in Romanism who claim to be saved are saved in direct contradiction to Rome's official teachings. Are there saved roman Catholics? Yes but they can never grow to maturity in the Roman Catholic church. They will be fed from the Roman Catholic church only husks and nothing for Spiritual nourishment.
There are churches all around the world that are filled with people who believe because they are good they will go to heaven. They trust a false Jesus and not the Jesus of the bible. It is essential that one know Jesus in more than just His name. Even more important is that Jesus know us in person.
Example would be everyone knows the name of the man in the White House. He however would know very few of us.
For the cause of Christ
