ah the lynx speaks! lol nah. i prefer to be home by 11 pm because i drive alone if i'm out. it's more of a safety issue for me.

Pray for me, guys. I've decided to make some very important decisions that will affect a lot of stuff. One of them includes finding a new job. Working from home has done me well but I can sense it's coming to a close and it's causing more stress than anything else.
There is a local health food store that I've really been thinking about applying to...I've been thinking about it a lot, actually. And I don't know if they're hiring or not. But I feel really good about it for some reason. And if things look good or I can get the job then I want to try to get my license. I'm not sure if I want to do it in the county I'll be moving to or if I should do it where I did it the last time.

Yes, I'll definitely pray for you Lil. I do recommend you go and take your driving test in a not-so-busy area haha! That's what I did when I got my license. My mom took me to this small town and it was so much easier, at least I think, that was my first try. There is less traffic and that alone eases your anxiety when taking the test. I live in a busy city and it probably would have been difficult for my younger self to get through that traffic without anxiety.

I hate that song because her voice and the way she sings it is way too monotone. If it was sang in a different way I don't think it'd be even half as miserable.

I learned to love this song. Sadly.
It was the autotune. When applied subtly to an already good voice autotune can add polish to the singing. When applied heavily to any voice to force the lyrics into perfect pitch... well, that's what you get.

Anyway, so the update on the scam, we didn't go into debt (like negative numbers in the bank), but now we're passed due on bills, so I guess that means somewhat in debt. Yes, the check bounced, and took all of my husband's most recent paycheck.
Gotta pay bills, and on the 23rd, our lease is up, and we get to move to Wyoming. Funding that, won't be easy either. But, God will provide. He always does.

In midtown. Worked on a glass piece for a couple of hours. Went to my favorite soul food place which is a short walk, one block away, for a pulled pork sandwich and some fried okra. My phone wouldn't let me post a pic in the food pics thread, but that is okay, because I'm having beer also.
I don't remember the last beer I had because I usually prefer wine. But I got some Oktoberfest special at the biergarten, since the soul food place does not serve alcoholic drinks. I brought the soul food into their patio.
Some creepy old guy with orange and black painted fingernails just showed me a bunch of pastries he pulled out of a box. I have no idea what he wanted me to do for those pastries, but though I was polite, he correctly interpreted my lack of interest.
Actually, I really want chocolate, but not THAT badly...
There is a pretty popular dessert diner a block in the other direction. Perhaps on my next break.

But seriously...Father in heaven, Abing and I lift our brother tintin up to you Lord, and we ask that you give him peace of mind and heart. Show him again how much you love him, Lord, and fill him again with your Holy Spirit and the joy of your salvation. Remind him, Lord, that he can trust in you, and your finished work, and the wonderful work that you've begun in him you will continue to completion, and you'll never let him down. Let him rest in you, Father, and as he does, grant him a re-newed vision of hope and purpose, in fellowship with you for time and eternity. Forgive us, Father, when we lose focus and allow doubt or depression to seep in.....it's not that we doubt your goodness, Lord, but sometimes we doubt our ability to respond properly to your overwhelming love for us, and we feel so inadequate at times. Help us to remember to rejoice, just in who you are, Lord...our loving heavenly Father, help us to pray and 'armor up' when the enemy tries to rob us of our faith and joy in you, Jesus, and thank you that we can pray for each other and lift each other up to your throne for help in time of need. Please bless Abing and tintin, and all our friends and family here, Lord. We give you our thanks, our prayers and praise and love in Jesus' name, amen.

Does anyone else think this song is about God? I think it is because I've followed Adam Young for years now and I know that he's a Christian and he usually sneaks his faith into his music...sometimes without people even knowing it.

Ugh.. Nausea and acid reflux -_- have you drink any medicine??
When i have acid reflux i eat ripe banana and honey, when I feel like nausea vomiting i drink hot ginger tea.. it always work for me BUT it may not work for you..

Please be with our Brother TinTin as You know the issues that are troubling him now. Please bring clarity to him and help guide him into the plan You have for his life. Please lift his spirits and bring him peace and comfort and help him to continue to trust in You knowing that all things will work out according to the plan You have for his life.
Help him to set goals and then Father help him to reach them and bring honor and glory to You so that others may see Jesus through his life.....Thank You Father for helping him. In Jesus Name Amen.
