That awkward moment when I found out an hour ago that I'm cooking dinner this Thursday for my mother-in-law and her very new (as of last night) boyfriend. Apparently he's "the one". I'm reserving judgment on the whole situation until we meet the guy, but more importantly...

What the heck are these people thinking, letting me cook for them all?!

lol this reminds me of back in my middle school days. 2 girls were arguing about some nonsense, and one said to the other, "girl you better leave me alone before i erase dem eyebrows off your face!"

i probably laughed for about 5 mins.

I know someone who draws their eyebrows on.....hers got burned off and wont grow back....
How do you erase eyebrows? lol

in the case of my middle school memory, you could totally tell the girl drew on her eyebrows with..... whatever girls use to draw on eyebrows lol i guess make up remover? lol

I worked with a girl who drew her eyebrows on with a Sharpie. It was hard to look at her, at first. even weirder to walk into the break room and see her touching up her eyebrows with the Sharpies we used on the job. I asked her what she did if she got bumped while drawing an eyebrow...she just looked at me like I was dumb and said "I put the smack down". Then she threw up a gang sign so I stopped bugging her.

that awkward moment when:

your work has a tradition of having a cake for people who are leaving the department or job, but two people are getting fired for sexual harassment. And in our managers meeting, the agenda had "cake for ..." and those two names along with another who is leaving under better conditions are all on the list for getting cake.

that even more awkward moment when:

you notice a pregnant pause in the meeting because everyone is contemplating the awkwardness of the meeting agenda, and you see your boss upset and beating himself up because he hired the two...and you interrupt the silence by asking "so is the cake going to be in the shape of something dirty, then?"

Or when you have alcohol in an ordinary soda glass bottle in the foyer of the church. Thank God that awkward moment has never happened to me....:).

It's not alcohol, it's... um... holy water, yeah. I brought it back from my visit to... um... that place where religious tourist people go to get holy water, isn't it called Lourdes or something? Yeah, that's it, I got it from Lourdes.

I do that all the time!! huahuahuahuahuahua

My family likes to have some wine during dinner, and I hate wine... so I just get the fancy glasses and fill them with whatever I wanna drink... guaraná. coke, sprite, juice, even water... just feel fancy as well... hehehehehe
