Coconut mango ice cream?

*Lynx perks up.

"If I had my life to live over again, I'd live it over an ice cream shop."

(Yes, the original quote was "delicatessen" instead of "ice cream shop." But who would take living over a place that sells sliced meats when you could live over a place that sells ice cream in all kinds of flavors?)

Ever have one of those days where you seem to embarrass yourself every time you say something? I think my whole week has been like that. Whyyyyy can't I just hush sometimes?

I've spent so much time the last few days just face palming every time I read or remember something I posted.

The difference between you and me is.... I do all my embarrassing things IN PUBLIC. And sometimes here. But mostly I get excited and I just eager puppy wee all over everything (imagery, people... I'm not weeing in public).

I love you so much for your awkward, it's like looking in one of those fun house mirrors (that stretch you thinner and taller) at past me... and somehow I have curly hair and light eyes.

Lynxie? I would choose the deli. I'm a bit meh over ice cream.

BUT I *AM* going to remember coconut mango... and make cheesecake pops (Teasecakes) this week with that flavor. Or maybe just the chipotle mango. YEAH!

Also? I talked SO MUCH TODAY. My ears are ringing (separate thought) and I am going to close my eyes after I say this:

GOD IS SO GOOD. He surprises me with his awesomeness every day... and grace and mercy aren't much to sneeze at either. Wowza. His provisions are overwhelming.

I just about choked on my iced tea! Eager puppy wee...too funny.

But...you're so UNawkward. Which is the only reason I wasn't More awkward when we met. If I could just take you every where with me, Maybe we'd both have less embarrassing moments :p

Where does one even purchase coconut mango flavored death? I've never seen anything beyond the usual flavors around here.
*Reads container.*

"Blue Bunny Premium Coconut Mango Swirl. (description) Coconut Ice Cream Swirled With Mango Sorbet."

Regularly $6.49. On sale and with a coupon... $4.09.

Death is Cheap. (And unfortunately, in this state, still taxable.)

I'm in!!

Is this where we talk about being sister-wives? Oh... no? Wait... this ISN"T the awkward thread??

In reality, my hands were shaking till we finished the salad. It's good that your huz is such a good conversationalist.... and I was still in EXTROVERT MODE from work. (Didn't you notice how I stumbled through my sales pitch for you and others when you were there? HOLY! I was so nervous)

Debating how late I should arrive at this party that I don't want to go to. I saw a couple others from facebook RSVP to it too, so it shouldn't be too bad, I hope. My introversion has really kicked in today though.

Want to just take a nap after doing some housework. Just had a bite of a crustless quiche with a ton of spinach that used up the Havarti dill cheese I wanted to get rid of. I think I will feel like going to the party after a shower - that usually motivates me.

OK....I am moving now.

no...really...

I took my grandma to get her driver's license renewed yesterday and they wouldn't do it. She failed the eye exam. Could you all keep her in your prayers? She isn't taking it too well. :(
She will be 82 in a few days.

This is where having you all in my off-screen life would be more fun than words.

Praying. Loss of independence is very tough on a person.

Sitting outside on the porch in the dark, watching bats swoop around the (only) streetlight. Nighttime after a thunderstorm. Quiet, almost silent. Stars peeking out between scattered clouds. The air smells like earth, and sagebrush, and rain. I could be the only person for miles, it's so still. An owl is perched in the giant cottonwood beside my house, occasionally hooting softly to another across town.

These are the moments I fall in love with this place all over again.

Jesus Holy Jesus...please touch that healing light of Your Spirit on Molly's grandmother's eyes.
Heal her body and mind. Keep her heart safe as she ages. Make Molly's grandma have more strength...so she may wake up and feel real good when dawn comes around. God bless her
Amen
