I keep getting myself hurt in one way or another. Last night I burned my mouth so badly on pizza there's now blisters on the roof of my mouth. This morning when I woke up, my cat was in the middle of the hall. I stepped over him (but managed not to step on him) and he clawed the heck outta my leg.
yo, i was sitting here thinking about when i've gotten a blister in my mouth. i don't think it's happened. seriously. and then i wondered how that could be. i've kind of burned my mouth on hot tea, but not to a blistering state.

i'm one of those people who picks at food and eats it so slow that it's usually sufficiently cooled. : )

however, i do remember getting 56357476546 blisters when i first started running. in fact my blisters got blisters and i lost a few toenails (even worse, over sandals season!!!) until i figured out exactly what shoe/sock combination i needed.

such good memories. : )

Storm came through area that lasted approximately one hour with heavy winds. Every window on one side of my house started to leak ...rain coming inside and collecting on windowsill. House built in 2006 so is newer but what the heck does this mean and who do you call to figure that out! I mean every window!! Frustrated .....

^ personally I can't tell the difference between them dancing for rain or my scalp but I'm assured there is a difference.

Ahhh Lynx you just made me laugh out loud at your chicklesticks comment and I SOOOO needed that! I live in middle TN area so yes we probably had same storm. I love storms but have never had windows leak like that and it freaked me out. 6 windows and the amount of water..do I need my entire house resealed... Good gravy. AND it tore one of my shutters off!!!!

Hey dudes and dudettes.
I have a massive favour to ask! Today, I will be sitting a job interview and I would greatly appreciate it if you guys could lift me up in your prayers for this job. I know this isn't the prayer forum... but I didn't have time.
Thank you for your help an prayers, I'll let you know how it goes!

chickwithsticks: Nope, no window leaking here. In my experience that doesn't happen, but our windows don't really "seal" as such. They're just wood frames with glass. Maybe the wind was driving the rain at such an angle that it came in almost horizontal. Most windows I've seen don't form a literal airtight (or watertight) seal and I can see windblown rain seeping in if blown hard enough.
