That's like saying "should we all stop reading the Bible because the devil quotes it?"
The works of the Catholic Church, no matter how "noble" they seem, are worthless in the light of eternity. It can feed people food to nourish their bodies, while at the same time, directing them to hell with their doctrines of devils.
Which is more important? Good works, or the salvation of souls?
Every protestant church I have ever attended, and every true Christian I have ever known, has always stood against abortion. We don't need the Catholic Church to direct us in that area.
So you would rather not feed hungry people, just tell them they are going to hell while you wipe your mouth with a McDonalds napkin?
The RCC´s treasures could be SOLD to feed the world but they "insist" on telling:
"That belongs to God! Not our Pope".
"That belongs to God! Not our Pope".
As opposed to sending them to hell on a full stomach?

Stop appealing to emotionalism.
Christians should both feed the poor and share the gospel. But the greater need is the true gospel of grace. Like notuptome said, a full belly is of little consolation in hell.
Feed the hungry to gain trust and direct them to heaven is noble.

On your profile, under spiritual status, it says "Christian." If you're a Christian, why are you still clinging to the FALSE beliefs of the RCC? You CANNOT be both a christian AND a catholic. It don't work that way. You need to choose one or the other. Apparently you're not a true Christian, or you wouldn't keep defending the RCC as ardently as you are..

You can't claim we don't support charity by what we've written. In fact, you'll find the opposite. You can't challenge us on doctrine, so you keep going for an emotional response.

mcw, I dont hate anyone, whether they are Catholic, Christian or an alien from Mars. I'm just wondering why you're defending the RCC beliefs, since you claim to be a christian. Can you explain that please? Oh and lose the attitude--it doesn't look well on you.
