I feel better than I did last night after a long hard cry.

I am choosing not to let this guy get the better of me because God wants me to have the very best and I should not be fearful in any way, shape, or form. I am not going to let him pursue me and continue in God's path for my life. Thank you for the prayers last night
Cmarieh...is your father aware of this?

Let me ask all of you a question. If I made the comment to you "I do hope you will continue our study. There is soooooo much more I have to show you." Would any of you regard this as an arrogant statement on my part or simply as a desire to share something with you.
Blond goes with the share more info statement....But I have gotten to know your personality better on this thread....so who knows what someone who does not know you better would think..... I'd want to know more if we had a good study going...

Yes, he is. He gave me a big hug and would tell me not to be afraid and he will guard me and protect me. He made me feel better, but I needed God's comforting hand this morning and I got that

My grandparents wouldup on Oreos and Ice Cream even when we were sick. My sister and I were spoiled rotten, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I remember my grandpa and will greatly miss are his stories of his childhood. I found them to be riveting and my grandma and I would always have a tea party.
Well , the gran-kids just left going to the ice cream parlar, they asked me to go, by
I had to decline. It's 99 degrees, so I have to stay in. But, they are bringing me a
B-split. It's going to mess up dinner, but their my g-kids, so I will eat it and be
happy.

All I can try to do is generalize the text for and see what answers the text itself reveals.

Knowing the other party, they should not have taken it as arrogance.

But, in general only, such a question depends on a couple of things. 1) Is there an agreed upon relationship of Teacher and Student? If so, it would not be arrogant. 2) Is there an assumption of mutual experience/intellect/understanding of Scripture? If so, then it possibly could be seen as arrogant.

Given that this is all occurring on a Public Forum, and on the BDF where it is common for people to hold themselves out as being the "final Authority" on all things Scriptural (not referring to you here), it very often is a statement of arrogance on a persons part. I can't count the number of new members that have come here and began to LECTURE all of us on Biblical Truth and how we are all doing everything wrong and doomed forever. I'm sure all of you have seen these people too.

Anyway, as I said, in this case, knowing you and the other party........NO, you were not being arrogant.

Hope all of this makes sense.
