Hahahaha, yeah, our brains do funny things when we come across words that are new. But I totally blame the English language for this, because the pronunciation and spelling rules for the English language have no consistency at all (e.g. 'i after e except after c' rule that applies to probably 30 words in the English language)
But incase anyone is struggling, its pronounced 'egg-gear-row'. And as my signature states, it is Greek.
... Or you can just call me 'Egg'.

hehe, I was discussing that with a friend yesterday, why we (both in English and Norwegian), can't just decide how the letters are pronounced and use them that way, rather than changing them all the time![]()
I can just imagine a group of mean with top hats, strumming their fingertips and laughing maniacally as they created the English language.
