I ended up not going into work today
I told my boss that I felt sick, but I just didn't feel like dealing with people today...
even though I had a headache because I slept too much and my body was in pain.
So I feel bad because I don't like doing that to my coworkers because they work really hard already... :/
But tomorrow is a new day! :)
I'll make it up for them in the best way I can.

I also purchased a Fitbit Flex,
simple.b-cssdisabled-png.h825b270eef65f5acc229a4cf487d8cc7.pack

Which is basically an activity tracker
Records your steps, sleep patterns, and is in a way kind of like the livestrong apps that you can use on your computer or mobile device.
I was thinking about buying the charge HR, which is basically the same thing, but has a heart rate monitor. But the reason why I didn't purchase it was because it was more expensive and it is a little clunkier. I guess that works for some people but I am not a bracelette wearer, or wear anything on my wrists ever. So yeah :)
Happy with my purchase because it is Summer, and that means that losing weight will be funner.

I'm just not in the mood for dealing with people today...

.. especially people who are sloppy or inefficient in their work.

X-(

Isn't it funny how mood and food are just one letter away from each other?

I'm going to get something to eat while I think about that...

Man, Zero. So much wisdom has been flowing out of you lately it's really quite astounding. May I call you... Sensei?

Why is it that when you're only trying to clear up a misunderstanding using a calm, proper tone some people behave in an ignorant way and try to make you seem like a jerk?

What do you guys think?

It's hard to win some one over once they are already offended (or even just generally angry).

Proverbs 18:19 "A brother offended is harder to be won than a strong city: and contentions are like the bars of a castle."

I find with situations like this, it is easier to start with, "I feel (this) when (this) happens..." whereas many people start with, "You did (this) therefore you are (this)." From experience, the latter adds fuel to their fire.

All I know is that when people operate out of hurt or offense, they see through a fog. I find it easier to appeal to their heart first before their mind.

I realize the sounding and spelling are completely different, but when I see ' egeiro' I think 'ergo' (Latin ; 'air-go') as in, 'therefore'.

Hahahaha, yeah, our brains do funny things when we come across words that are new. But I totally blame the English language for this, because the pronunciation and spelling rules for the English language have no consistency at all (e.g. 'i after e except after c' rule that applies to probably 30 words in the English language)

But incase anyone is struggling, its pronounced 'egg-gear-row'. And as my signature states, it is Greek.

... Or you can just call me 'Egg'.

.... mmmmm, scrambled eggs....

hehe, I was discussing that with a friend yesterday, why we (both in English and Norwegian), can't just decide how the letters are pronounced and use them that way, rather than changing them all the time :p

I can just imagine a group of men with top hats, strumming their fingertips and laughing maniacally as they created the English language.

That (un)intentionally added "a" was just awesome...;)

Actually, that was a real typo, I promise you it was unintentional! But thankfully, I had just enough time to change it.

I'm not that witty...

And my own typos are like a thorn in my side.

Yeah, and learning Norwegian is not easy. The "U" is sometimes U and sometimes O, and the "O" is both O, U and Å...and surely some other letters too...lol...and that horrible silent "H"...and its evil side kick, the silent "G"...sigh...then it is of course the curse of the "KJ" sound...not to forget the evil syllables...well...;)
