I read a review of the band written by an individual that came across as knowing about the band a long time and where the band stands. He seemed quite aware that this was not a religious band. He explained the latest album (the cover above) is a storyline concept about a fictional religious character named Motorjesus.
This reviewer also commented on how some of the songs do seem religious in nature, but was aware enough of the band to know them as not being that way.
The beginning of his review was 'what happens when you mix beer, jagermeister and awesome musicians?'.
Also i saw photos of the band and the guitarist had on an Archenemy tshirt with their pentegram logo. While listening to the band may not make a person non-Christian i'd have trouble with any Christian band member that felt comfortable wearing a shirt like that on stage.

Yea if you look at their website they speak of drinking beer lol....
sometimes The path that feels comfortable ends up feeling quite uncomfortable that's when change happens for the good a person is moved by God to chose the right path for their own good. Personally if I can hear his works on the front lines no matter what song or band it is cool. Really the dark music lyrics isn't much different then watching a horror movie same thing but in sound only... I'm not a horror movie watcher tame one maybe not many

From what I understand Accept does have several christian members. As does Megadeth.

I FINALLY got around to getting the Deus Invictus album...I heard a couple songs I liked, but hearing the album as a whole is so much better than a single song I think. they remind me a lot of Between the Buried and Me, the major difference being in the more melodic parts. Love the album though, I think they could really go somewhere.

I'm really not a Red fan. I heard some of their new stuff and thought it was alright, but nothing before that sounded that appealing to me. I don't understand why them and skillet are classified as metal/industrial bands to be perfectly honest, and in my opinion both bands are mediocre at best.

Typically I prefer metal bands with a lot of technicality, precision, and expert musicianship, so usually I lean more towards the progressive side of things, but there's something about the simplicity of Sleeping Giant, they're so unapologetic and passionate, and for being a simple metalcore/deathcore whatever you want to call them band, they can get really brutal

They really have definite talent. I personally prefer For Today over them, they have a similar style, but there is just something that really moves you the way For Today does. And as far as music style goes, I am a major fan of good solid old school hardcore. Its hard to find really solid hardcore bands anymore because it seems that the true hardcore scene is starting to die out. I just remembered another band that I feel is often overlooked and thats the band, Impending Doom.

Every band you mentioned has been derivative unoriginal metalcore. I feel like impending doom is overrated if anything. You want good old style hardcore listen to point of recognition, xdisciplex A.D., NIV, or shockwave

Very true, I would mention several other old school hardcore bands that I like but they arent Christian bands per say so I figured it would be best not to mention them. But I will look into those bands for sure! Thank you for the suggestions, Im a huge metal junkie, Ive played bass for 3 different bands but they never went anywhere and I am looking to start up a new one this summer. One band I failed to mention that is amazing and underrated is The Chariot.

Some new(ish) metal. I guess the song was released a couple of years ago, BUT Rottweiler just announced signing them, and apparently this song is going to be on their upcoming album. Fairly original I think. Most attempted christian symphonic metal projects fall short somewhere. Usually in the mix of vocals and music, but this isn't too bad.
