I read a review of the band written by an individual that came across as knowing about the band a long time and where the band stands. He seemed quite aware that this was not a religious band. He explained the latest album (the cover above) is a storyline concept about a fictional religious character named Motorjesus.
This reviewer also commented on how some of the songs do seem religious in nature, but was aware enough of the band to know them as not being that way.
The beginning of his review was 'what happens when you mix beer, jagermeister and awesome musicians?'.
Also i saw photos of the band and the guitarist had on an Archenemy tshirt with their pentegram logo. While listening to the band may not make a person non-Christian i'd have trouble with any Christian band member that felt comfortable wearing a shirt like that on stage.
