ANYWHO!

I filled out the papers to apply to become a volunteer at my local Humane Society. I'm really excited. I've wanted to get around to doing this, and I decided today was the day. Enough talking, start doing. They'll get a hold of me, and I hope and pray they do soon.

While I was there, I almost took a kitten home. XD They were fluffy 8 week old kitties. Black and white. Super friendly. It played with my jacket. IT WAS SO CUTE!

I can't wait to start. :) This is something I'll actually be GOOD at!

Ha! No, Shour was the one who went on holiday. I've been right here. ;) My dad is bestest because he split the cost of airfare for me to go visit Shour next week, though! SAND DUNES AND MOUNTAINS?? Heck yeah!

Wonderful news Lil! You'll love working there. Maybe the volunteering will open a door in the future for a paid position. Wouldn't that be a great job!

I would LOVE to work there. :) I love music, but I can't make a career out of it right now. I also love kids, but I need to have money to make that a career, too, unless I become a daycare worker. So right now I'll settle for volunteer work and see where God takes me this next year!

Just close to four in the morning. No sleep, however I have been inspired and put to thought until now of wanting to involve myself with writing. Question is, what do I write about? Do I have anything worth sharing other than biased opinions and rantings? My mind, as per usual, has gone blank. -sighs-

Something just randomly crossed my mind. Comedy as medicine and comedy as a mask.

There is this Youtuber I watch. She is a beautiful girl, smart, successful because she is driven and she is open honest and caring. Tho her "good side" shows, she has done a number of fake videos to bring attention to herself because she likes the attention she gets. Her fake persona was not only to bring attention to herself, but because she felt if people were hating on that person she would act as they were not hating on her. She was trying to be funny in such a way to where she wasn't even herself. Just acting in a manner where most people would just cringe at.

And sometimes I feel like that as well. What a shield comedy can become when we are hurting the most.
 
Is it MirandaSings by any chance? Otherwise, I don't know or look into youtubers as to who does personas like that. I don't even remember how I came across MirandaSings to begin with (edit - never mind, now I do. Not that it's relevant or important either way).

And yeah, I may have some ideas in mind but I think some sleep and keeping these things down on paper would be a good start. Commitment would be a complete bonus if I'm wanting to excel at even beginning at it.
 
I really wish they had the Internet and forums when Zwingli and Luther were duking it out over communion. Those would have been some epic threads.
