Let the mods speak for themselves... and if there's a problem, let them fix it. I wouldn't mind seeing who represents what church " under their post " or somewhere, but I'm not complaining, the truth will be heard one way or the the other, let the individual decide on what truth is instead of pushing the
" bible discussion forum " is an evil place agenda.. Bible discussion should be what this place should be about, along with testimonies in my point of view,

Bible discussion is not fruitful if it only reaps venom and condemnation instead of gospel clarity.

Lynx, when was the last time you checked the fence? Some parts of it must have broken down.

I feel an inspiration coming on by none other than those cultural icons...

Ren and Stimpy.

"Don't Whiz On... The Electric Fence." Bah Bum Bum.

Normally I would agree that the Bible Discussion Forum is a good idea. In the past I have stuck up for the forum when many have ragged on it, because there are sometimes precious diamonds amongst the pig's feed. But for now, it's disgusting. The place is pretty much Hell on Earth. And I will have no part of that squaller. I don't want to become an angry and bitter person, but God help me, some of the people there...

This..

I just.....

Nevermind.

Good morning everybody! Stay away from me as I am running a fever.

In theory the Bible Discussion forum should be a great place to hang out and talk about the Bible. In practice it's a great place for people to yell at each other and tell each other "I'm right, you're wrong, I think you're not really a christian and you're probably going to hell because you believe something so incredibly wrong." (Rough paraphrase, but that's pretty much what they say over in the Bible Discussion forum.)

It's a great place if you have a problem with low blood pressure. Just read a few threads and that BP will shoot right on up there.

Well who would have thought... The Bible Discussion Forum can apparently cure medical ailments.

IT'S A MIRACLE, I TELL YOU!!!

Obviously... something straight out of the Bible.

So as long as everyone's not promoting magic and such, it's a terrible place ? As long as everyone there doesn't promote sin, is this unbearable for you ? If you think anything on " the Internet " is hell on earth.. I would suggest you take a walk in a major city especially mine... People are dying and starving, and the Internet ... is the furthest thing from there mind, your privileged, do you know this ?..so why don't you hang on to your tongue a bit, and either fight for and search out truth and understanding in Christ, or stand down... and say nothing, ever heard that saying " if you have nothing good to say, say nothing at all " ? I'll be praying for you Tintin..

Dude. Just stop it. Leave me be. Seriously.
You're relatively new to CC. You don't know me like others here.

Some people call into question people's salvation far too easily. Not cool. I have issues, we all have issues. Let's leave the Singles forum as a loving sanctuary, please.

Is it just me or does Brainfreeze himself sound like a refugee from the Bible Discussions forum? Maybe that's why he is so quick to defend it and so incredibly quick to insult anyone who says anything bad about it.

TinTin is not only a solid guy, but incredibly smart and very highly respected here. He is also allowed to vent his frustration with the Bible Forum, which many of us also feel.

I myself have wanted to post and start thread in the Bible Forum many times (especially since I'm going through some personal issues of faith myself right now) but never do because of the complete lack of respect, compassion, and attempt at understanding I find in all the threads I read there. I don't dare post my thoughts there because I know I'd be ripped to shreds.

And for anyone who thinks it's "Just in our imagination", I've started threads here in singles even recently that touched upon Biblical doctrines/interpretations, and can you guess what happened? People from the Bible Discussion Forum started coming here and starting all their arguments in our threads. One poster totally shredded the beliefs of another in my thread, which had nothing to do with the topic, to which I chose to intervene and say, Hey, please either stay on topic, start your own thread, or... Go back to the Bible Forum--it's that simple.

It's called the Bible Discussion Forum. But more often than not, it turns into the "I'm Smarter Than Anyone Else Here And I Can Cherry Pick Scriptures and Articles to Prove Anyone Who Disagrees With Me is Going To Hell" Forum.

Brainfreeze, you are welcome to pray for me along with TinTin as you go back. After all, who of us couldn't use more prayer? If you enjoy the BDF, that's wonderful! Unfortunately, some of us haven't had very positive experiences there.

Your criticisms of TinTin are unfair and ungrounded. Please take the time to get to know him and become familiar what what he says in his posts.

I'm glad I have (and the same can be said of his lady love, Arlene.)
