I like that passage ...you would not like it if you knew what it really said...its a warning again of those who turn from faith and God grace back to the law...unbelief the law is not of faith!

Heb 3:18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

wicked hearts of unbelief...the law is not of faith

It is not about just turning back to the law, it is about turning back to willful unrepented sins.

[SUP]2 [/SUP]Here is how we know that we love God’s children: when we love God, we also do what he commands. [SUP]3 [/SUP]For loving God means obeying his commands. Moreover, his commands are not burdensome, [SUP]4 [/SUP]because everything which has God as its Father overcomes the world. And this is what victoriously overcomes the world: our trust. [SUP]5 [/SUP]Who does overcome the world if not the person who believes that Yeshua is the Son of God?
Yes and John explains those commandments are faith and love...not the law of Moses

To receive the gift of salvation? are you serious that you must control sin to receive the gift of salvation? do you want to defend that position... I don't think the most ardent legalist would make that claim... that's a complete rejection of the gospel.

My mercy I will keep for Him forever and My covenant will stand fast with Him. And I will establish his Seed forever, and his throne will be as the days of heaven. Should his children forsake My Law, and refuse to walk in My judgments; Should they profane My statutes, and fail to keep My commandments; Then I will punish their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with lashes from the whip. Nevertheless, My lovingkindness I will not utterly withdraw from him, nor will I ever betray My faithfulness. My covenant I will not break, nor will I change what has gone out of My lips. Once for all, I have vowed by My holiness--I cannot lie, and I say to David: His Seed will endure forever, and his throne will endure before Me like the sun. His throne will be established forever like the moon: the faithful witness in the sky."

I do read the bible and once again you are misreading the context that Paul is using here, his context is that the law showed exactly what our sins were and. So they brought to light what was in the dark.

Galatians 3:22-27
But the Scripture has shut up [a]everyone under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe. But before faith came, we were kept in custody under the law, being shut up to the faith which was later to be revealed. Therefore the Law has become our tutor to lead us to Christ, so that we may be justified by faith. But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a [b]tutor. For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.
Galatians 2.21:
[SUP]21 [/SUP]I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

Wrong both of them are talking about believing and not believing in Him.
There is more than one way to not believe in the Lord then just following the law, your actions by walking in sin, treating others like crap, and not having a helpful attitude to others.....

Titus 1:16
They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate

It is about submitting to the Creator. He know we cant be 100% perfect, only one was.

Mattithyah 7:23, "But then I will declare to them; I never knew you. Get away from Me, you who practice iniquity."

iniquity is:#0458 anomia {an-om-ee'-ah} from G0459

Greek Word Study (Transliteration-Pronunciation Etymology & Grammar)
1) the condition of without law
1a) because ignorant of it
1b) because of violating it
2) contempt and violation of law, iniquity, wickedness
Yahchanan (John) 14:15, "If you love Me, keep My commandments."

Mattithyah 24:12, "And because iniquity will abound, the love of the many will grow cold."

2 peter 3:15-17, "And count the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given him, as he does in all his letters when he speaks in them of these matters. There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures. You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the error of lawless people and lose your own stability."

Matt 5:18, "For truly I say to you; Unless heaven and earth passes away, one yodh--the smallest of the letters--will in no way pass from the Law, until all things are perfected."

Yahchanan 8:31, "...If you continue in My doctrine, then you are truly My disciples."

Mattithyah 5:19, "Whosoever, therefore, will break one of the least of these Laws, and will teach men so, he will be called the least in the Kingdom of Yahweh; but whosoever will do and teach them, the same will be called great in the Kingdom of Yahweh."

Exodus 20:6, "But showing love to thousands who love Me by keeping My Laws."

1 Yahchanan 5:2-3, "By this we know that we love the children of Yahweh: When we love Yahweh by keeping His Laws (entole) . For this is the love of Yahweh: That we keep His Law, and His Law is not grievous."

then how can you say you love 24/7, because if you say this, you claim to be without sin.
How many times must Kenneth say that "if we repent"? I don't have the time to count them all - but he sure has said it enough.

And - context is not always the whole of a chpt because any of the authors of the Bible will go onto a different type dialogue within a chpt.

Do you see me judging anyone of sin?

again, do you see me judging people for sin, pr judging people of not obeying gods commands, this is not me, nor is it written to me, it is written to those who are judging us. as loving our sin.

Do you see me despising Gods forbearance, and longsuffering of God. Which causes one to have the ability to repent? No, I practice and teach this. those who teach one can lose salvation are who this is spoken to. they teach God has no longsiffering and forebearance.

Do you see me trying to promote myself and my good works? No way, I seek to honor and glorify God in whatever I do. It is not about me and how God I am, or about you and how bad you are. it is about God. and only God
Yes I do see you doing judging others of sin ... On every thread on this topic that I've viewed and didn't or couldn't reply to. You did MORE than that with your 'friends' .... you and they have a tendency to tell the people here that they're not saved at all when it's on this topic. And not one person that you've debated with does Not believe in Salvation by Grace through Faith - but have only preached with the verses on "obedience" - "keeping His Word" - "keeping His commandments" and other commands - which is at least 3/4ths of the New Testament - both from Jesus' Own mouth and His Apostles.

Yes, you do "despise God's forebearance and long suffering" by condemning and name calling those that you disagree with and posting things about them that you, being just a man behind a monitor, could Never Know about them or whether they are saved or not --- and don't even bother to ask "What Laws are we to 'Keep' ?" You don't care about anyone here except those that agree with you and in every thread on this topic - you've proved your lack of "forebearance and long-suffering" -- thus you are denying His to the other members here that YOU disagree with.

As far as this last line that I've quoted from you --- I'm about out of words for how you've treated those others on these threads. The name calling, the nasty remarks etc., etc., and yet you have been so blinded by your beliefs that you don't see that as being "puffed up" like the Corinthians were that Paul also accused with those same words because they ALLOWED sin to enter their fellowship?

What on earth do you care about what God "sees is in their heart" ... when you are the judge and jury since God knows when on this forum --- telling people that they're arrogant, glorying in their own works, "newbirth" is called "nobirth" and on and on the name calling and insinuations and out-right accusations of others not being saved to the point that when I was new here - I came on begging you all to never judge another's salvation - but that went unheeded as well.

You DO think rather highly of yourself when you call others by cruel names, judge their motives for wanting to obey The Lord, Tell them they're not saved and "under the law" and every sort of cruel thing that one man can say to another ... and yet you just boast with these questions I've quoted above. How quickly you forget allllllllllllllll of the threads you have been on and what you & yours have said to these other members that never retaliated in kind. How sad.

As far as what you wrote regarding your interpretation of those verses from Romans 2 -- I suggest you maybe open your Logos thing there and read a number of what other men say because I know you won't listen to me if I showed you where you're off.

Jas 1:23,24 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: for he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
