I have a sweet tooth that won't quit so as much as I enjoy baking I don't do it often because I can tend to enjoy the fruits of my labor a bit too much. :)

As for the fruitcake Seoul, you're outta luck from this baker. I'm not that much of a fan of fruitcake so I've never even attempted one.
But I bet you make a mean coffee cake!

I've never so much as stepped in a gym. That's largely because I was bullied by the athletic-types in high-school and because I'm not the sort who enjoys that rigorous form of exercise. It could be beneficial but I'm okay with just going for walks or riding my bike, for now. Also, the gym world sounds kind of overwhelming with so many people in a small place and with all of the weird equipment there. I don't know.

Gym is for guys who like to build 'show muscles' (been there, done that... years ago).
If you're fixed on building muscle that much you'll only be disappointed

It should be FUN to exercise and play sports, a fit body is a welcome extra.

MY SEMESTER IS OVER. I only have ONE MORE until I'm DONE with my degree! (You know, assuming that I don't fail anything) :D

I'm really looking forward to winter break. My dad comes back this Wednesday, I'll spend some much needed time preparing for my senior recital next semester, and my fiancé and I can do some wedding planning.

ill start practicing piano again tomorrow, but for today, I celebrated by being completely unproductive. *happy sigh*

Thanks. I wouldn't mind building up a little muscle but I have no desire to become 'buff'.

Try yoga, it worked for me.
(and please, spare me the nonsense that it's all about worshiping false gods) ;)

There are some spiritual elements to yoga, yes, but it's perfectly possible to do just the physical exercises.

You can make it as spiritual as you like, and clearly that's not what I want.

You can even do yoga with your dog, it's called 'doga.' (no kidding)

I have a habit of making really bad decisions that seem like a really good idea at the time.

Like going outside in the snow wearing capris and flip flops because the snow isn't THAT deep.
Like buying a type of coffee I've never really cared for because hey, I Might like it this time (I don't).
Like telling people things they don't need to know about me.
Like starting sewing projects when I haven't got a clue what I'm doing.

Limits? Boundaries? Logic? Say whaaaat?

actually had a little bit of time to work on a stained glass project the other day.

I didn't like the handle on a coffee mug that I had been doing, so I redesigned that part. My sketch came out exactly as I wanted to on the first try!

I made a pattern and cut out the glass piece. The interior curve made for a difficult cut, but it came out right the first time!

....and then I had to go to my kid's concert, which was fantastic!

But I was kind of bummed that I had to quit while I was on a roll. That doesn't happen too often as so many things can go wrong. Hopefully, I can pick up where I left off.

After this set of mugs, I want to make another cat. I have a big sheet of pink, and I think one of orange. Should I go with a hot pink cat with black stripes or go with the more realistic orange color? Taking votes now and promise to post pics. I will probably revive MissCris's artsy-craftsy thread to do so (and why is that thread not being used right now to share all the Christmas crafts that people are doing? Hmmmmm?????)
