there is only one faith in Christ....the problem is some want faith without works(faith alone).....which the scripture teaches is dead...and James ask them to show their faith without works....and no one can
Thank you for answering the question, i'm glad that the verses used in the op didn't stumble you like it did others. Pretty simple question, no?...... Btw James is right, and in the simplest terms.......to the natural faith, we say be a good boy or girl, read your bible, believe, repent, pray and do your best to follow what Jesus commanded us to do and wait for the day to dawn and for the day star to arise in your heart. To the supernatural faith....... you have an unction from the Holy One and know all things,....... and are established in the present truth, and.......you don't need any man to teach you.
Baptism is a fine and blessed thing for a believer in Christ to receive, the Apostles did it, just like John the baptist. It was very popular back then in the first century as it pointed to God being actively involved in saving our souls by bringing us back to Him and pointed to Christ the author and finisher of our Salvation. You do well to promote baptism brother just like the Apostles did, but there is a lot more to being a Christian then baptism. i'm sure you would agree to that because after baptism those who are learning the right way may often come to you and say brother how should i handle this or that. Then you say brother the Lord says go this way. Once again thank you for answering the question brother newbirth
