A loofah is a natural spongy thing with lots of holes in it. That thing they call a loofah now is just a sponge inside a mesh net.

No no no. It's only manly when you use body wash and a lather builder (or at least that's what they called it in one of the welcome buckets one year at university). But this is the kind of thing you can keep from a girl you are dating for quite a while, and maybe she can fill in some more manly sounding words when she finds out.

I just use soap for my body and shampoo and conditioner for my hair. No fancy chmancy things for me.

Aaaagh. I'm about ready to hurt somethin'. I work for 8 hours on my birthday. I bought tickets in advance to go see a concert on my birthday (wasn't expecting a job to get in the way), and I'll get off work only 30 minutes before it starts. I dunno how long it'd take to get there from my work. It'd take 45 minutes to get there from my work...So I'd miss the first 15 minutes. That's ridiculous.
Beware! You may soon get calls from customers asking how they can charge their e-cigarettes on their computers.

I feel awfully weird this morning. Just...you know, stupid emotions and junk.
I watched the rioting in MO on the news last night. And it was so very...just sad. I'll keep my opinion on what lead to the riots to myself, but...Where is the sense in destroying the property of people who had nothing to do with the event they're rioting over? What good is that doing anyone? How does it make it right, how does it solve anything, to get violent and stupid and break stuff and steal things and get drunk?
I watched when a man walked up to the McDonald's...the majority of the crowd was heading towards the liquor store at that point, I think, but this man with a baseball bat went up to an empty McDonald's and busted the window...and this act, more than the others I watched...I dunno, so incredibly pointless. Senseless violence and destruction. Breaking stuff just because nobody was stopping them from doing it.
And the whole thing got me thinking...just...how very, very, very sad, and lost, and blind, people are.
And then to leap to a totally different subject...
Why is stuff so hard?! Decisions, and choices, and friendships? Why do things have to be complicated and stupid? Why can't two people who get along well just be friends, and leave it at that, without issues and emotions and problems and just...why can't I just...I dunno, keep a friend, for once? I feel like there's something fundamentally wrong with me that causes me to systematically destroy every friendship I am ever blessed with.

...on a positive note, I managed to drink an entire cup of coffee this morning while it was still hot. And that's pretty much unheard of around here.
Gotta give thanks for the little things, yeah?

Well, I suspect that the rioters didn't do it because of what happened, they just waited for an excuse to do stuff.
The ones that are truly hurt are probably in their homes grieving.

We, as humanity, are so broken and immature and this leads (potentially) to such insanity, for sin and carnality lead to destruction and death (Romans 8:6-8).
We, as a culture, are so in need of the restoring power of God's love! This culture I live in (in North America) is bursting with depravity and is self-destructing & my sorrow is that the Church of Jesus Christ is largely either asleep, compromised in carnal habits or too immature to impact our culture with the strong and mighty Love of God! It brings me to my knees this morning, that I may be surrendered & full of Jesus and His Love and full of the Fruit of Holy Spirit and available at His service...
