I don't really understand this fascination with when the world may/may not end - if you are in Christ, you are READY! \o/ Our focus needs to be on presenting the Good News to those around us so that they can be ready, too!

Though I do believe we are getting close to the last day I kinda have to agree with JGIG here on what he wrote (I didn't view the whatever thing). There have been many people who tried to predict the last day and as far as I know they have all been wrong (since we are still here). Though we are to look for the signs we are not to be totally focused on them. If we only focus on the last days we kinda lose sight of going about our Father's business and spreading the Good News. I myself am more concerned about spreading God's word and reaching those who need reached.

Just my opinion but that's what I believe.

The 'rapture' and the 'Day of the Lord' go together.

Prophetically speaking, the 'Day of the Lord' is two things - 1000 years -- and, the first [ actual ] day of that 1000 years --- the 1000 year reign of Christ, and the day He arrives to begin that 1000 year reign.

He is returning only once.

The 'Day of the Lord' will be that day - the day He appears.

The rapture is but one of a series of "smaller events" within the "larger event" - occurring in the proper order - starting with the appearance of Christ Himself.

It was in response to this..."why did not the day of the Lord happen centuries ago,".
The reason the Day of the Lord didn't happen centuries ago was because there was no Israel, no 3rd Temple, etc. all necessary for the covenant with Israel to be broken by the AC and him entering the temple declaring himself as God etc.
I'm not clear if all the Jews or most will be back in their land at that time.
 
I don't put much stock in the blood moons, I would rather put my stock in the happenings of Israel and the times of Noah. Which we are seeing in the US of A. But not world wide as some countries are experiencing revival. But not us be cause we want our gay's and we want our baby killers and God will not support that.

Example, right at this moment there are 7 threads out of 20 on baptism. Not that baptism isn't important but how about a little consolidation?

I guess we just sit and wait to see what's going to happens, and the first day of the month of the year it is going to be in February, and so I guess that is when we should start looking for signs.

Yes I know I have studied the blood moons and it is hogwash. Jesus said it will be as the time of Noah where every man thought is evil. That has not come to pass although it is approaching as we except gays and abortion, but that's just our country in other country's if you are gay you are put to death and they don't kill their babies. The Judgment of the good ole US of A is coming. But not upon the world as they are turning to the cross.

Oh, I see; we first let the babies grow up, and if they comes out being gay, we'll kill them because they will be fully aware that they are being kill, but babies it wouldn't be any fun killing them because they doesn't know what is being done to them.

Oh. Okay. I fear I didn't put that very well! I should have better stated the tetrads, no matter how infrequent, are reoccurring events of the natural order, not what you'd think of as signs, like the virgin birth, and the Lord's day had no association with previous tetrads. I guess it wasn't you, but somebody said the number of Jews back in the land was not yet complete, but didn't mention why they thought this.

So many issues are also such basic doctrine, having all these threads beating the same dead horse, that some will never agree on, gets old. It also draws the bickering trolls, but I suppose this is a fact of web life.

I think I did mention a day or two ago that not all the Jews weren't back in the land only because I still see many leaving other countries heading back to Israel.

As far as the Tetrads, I look at it, especially the last one with some curiosity...I don't have a dog in that race.

Yeah, they seem to come in waves...maybe the trolls are good swimmers.
 
God can cause a blood moon anytime He gets ready and He can stay the rapture as long as He wills . He is God and we are not that's what we got to get through our thick skulls.
