Well, I think Mocha's ear looks a little less red today (I started him on his antibiotics practically the moment I got home from the vet). Too early in the game to tell, though.

Facebook is down *queues same music when Mario gets killed*. Must be ISIS. They are slowly annoying us with delaying our ability to post pictures of cats, food and updating each other that we are bored.
Yeah I just got home from school and saw that on the news. My first thought was "how is this NEWS?"

OKay, peeps...

My head is ITCHY. Super itchy. I'm 100% sure I don't have lice. I just have some minor dandruff issues. But MAN my head itches. I scratch it a lot. I've tried many different shampoos over the years, such as Head & Shoulders (doesn't work.), Selsun Blue (DEFINITELY DOES NOT WORK! Makes my head itch even worse), Denorex...I forget what else.

Does anyone know of a good shampoo that would help with this?

If you wash your hair a lot or use a lot of shampoo it will dry out your scalp and cause it to itch. I of course have no idea how often you wash your hair.. just sharing this info in case it might help

You need to take a lot of Vitamin E for your hair nutrients and protein for your scalp. Don't wash hair regularly by shampoo, the chemical contents of it is very harmful to your scalp. If your allergic to something like gel, oil or whatsoever, I suggest don't try them on your hair. And also, the regular rebonding, coloring of your hair makes your scalp reacts sensitively.

To : Zeroturbulence, how long have you been a sad ninja?

I've always been a sad ninja. I just didn't know it until recently. :)

Trying to sell my old textbooks to new bright-eyed bushy-tailed 1st and 2nd years. Found a few assignments I wrote. I saw one of them in particular that I got a high mark on, and that I enjoyed researching, analyzing and presenting my case. Considering framing it hahaha. I was giddy when I was able to diagnose Holden Caulfield. Giddy.

Atleast you always knew that you were a ninja though. Not a lot of people can say that!

Yeah, I wash it nearly every day. But I'm afraid that if I don't wash it regularly my hair will be so greasy I'll look like a hobo. >.> Though grabbing some good quality Vitamin E probably wouldn't hurt. I don't use any product beyond shampoo in my hair. I don't even use a hair dryer most of the time. I also haven't done any sort of coloring to my hair since February (though that might change...I'm thinking of getting it colored a caramel color).

I can attest to the benefits of giving your hair a break from constant washes. I used to wash my hair daily, but now I usually wash my hair 3-4 times a week. Freshly washed hair looks nice when it's down, for but styled looks, second-day (sometimes even third-day) hair holds it's shape much better. Try looking up hairstyles for "dirty" hair. Your scalp will thank you. ^_^

Thanks! :) I'll attempt to pull off one of those styles and give my hair a break. But if it doesn't improve soon, I might need to go see a dermatologist.

It's 2:30am and I am up. Oh well. Tomorrow will be a day of trying to sell things. There is this place that will give you cash for a used car, would like to a quote atleast. I really rather not have to put myself into more debt. The course is only $2600 but I know I won't be able to handle working for those months so I'll need some kind of financial support. Just rather keep it as little as possible. Heading down to the ol university tomorrow, try not to make any eye contact with any profs, feel like I've disappointed a few of them by stopping my education. So it will be a quick in and out. I am sure in the government's eyes, they see me as a failed student. Never finishing uni, going back elsewhere and still asking for more of a loan.

Don't be so hard on yourself, Arwen. Everyone knows (including professors) that a lot of people can't afford to finish college and that it's a heavy burden trying to support one's self while paying for college. Maybe someday you'll be able to finish. One of my best friends took 8 years to get his bachelors and he was older than you when he got it. There's really no disgrace in what you're going through. It happens a lot more than you might think.
