Apologies for the self-pity pessimistic post here but, whatever.. I need to get this off my chest. No one has to respond, I just need to vent to the interwebs.

Been feeling that perhaps it's best that I don't find a guy. My life is complicated, I am complicated. Guys don't want baggage hey? I get tired easily, need to nap a lot. I don't like to stay out too late. I don't drink, I don't care to be among large parties. I won't have sex before marriage. I am not so talkative about my faith as others are. I don't volunteer in the church, sometimes I don't go. I am not sure if I can have biological children. I can be quite stubborn and selfish.

So if a guy ever becomes interested in me, I feel that I have to explain all this so we don't both waste our time. It just seems for me to get serious with a guy, he would have to know all this then still accept me. It just doesn't seem like it will happen.

I wish I had a cat. That use to help the loneliness.

Sounds a lot like me, except I'm allergic to cats so that option is closed to me. On the bright side, however, some of those qualities are also excellent creep repellent and jerk repellent. Doesn't mean no guy is going to want you, just means that the guys who are going to want you are going to be a bit more difficult to meet since they aren't out cruising the nightlife and doing other worldly meet other singles activities.

So, this just hasn't been my week. For some time I've been building a little bit of a cash stash primarily for emergencies, but over the years I've also found that cash is an amazing negotiating tool when trying to get someone to reduce the price of goods and services (waving cash under someone's nose works so much better than waving plastic). The foolish part of this plan is that I kept the cash in my wallet (not entirely foolish since anyone that knows me knows that I carry cash in my pocket, not my wallet).

For years I have left my wallet stashed in my truck since carrying a wallet in my occupation is a nuisance (paint over spray gets everywhere including in your pockets and wallet). Anyway, yesterday I cashed a check from a side job and opened my wallet to add the cash to my stash and to my horror I found instead of approximately $1,000, there was only $100 there. Someone literally pulled my wallet out, removed the cash that no one knew was there, and put my wallet back in it's original place so that I wouldn't immediately notice something was amiss.

The sad thing is that all the evidence points to someone who works for me, I just don't know who and even if I did know who, I couldn't prove it.
Oh no... I can imagine that sick feeling of denial you must have felt. :( I'm sorry to hear this. At least it happened before you added more cash to it, I suppose. How many people work for you? I might be tempted to line them all up and interrogate them. Ugh.

There are so real nutters on CC. Some that don't have a clue about the Bible and the Christian faith but try to preach all the same. I reckon they're posing as Christians. No one could be that stupid.

If you make something idiot proof someone will just invent a better idiot.

Never underestimate the stupidity of stupid people.

Ugh, can't sleep. It's super irritating. I'd gotten so used to being able to immediately zonk out when my head hit the pillow...lately though, sleeping at night is such a chore. I've been tossing and turning for hours every night before finally drifting off...only to be instantly awakened by one of my kids. I just want to block everything out, all of it...just long enough to rest. Sleep deprivation turns me into a lunatic. More so, I mean. *sigh*

I just counted 600 sheep. Fluffy cartoony sheep that made funny little sheep noises when they jumped over the fence. Now...I'm still awake, with a head full of imaginary sheep. This is either horrific or hilarious.

If you haven't already, try praying for a restful sleep and take these scriptures to bed with you. God bless.

In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, make me dwell in safety.
(Psalm 4:8 NIV)

The LORD will keep you from all harm-- he will watch over your life;
(Psalm 121:7 NLT)

once_fallen, it was me!! I confess! I took your 1K. Here's how I carried out my nefarious plan: I followed you to work, flying as fast as I could to keep up. Trucks are ALOT faster than ladybugs, let me tell ya! LOL!! I landed on a tree and watched you park your truck. Then I saw you stick something under your seat. Being the curious little ladybug that I am, after you had left, I flew down to see what it was, and wow! It was a big, fat wallet with a bunch of green stuff in it. I now know that the green stuff was money, but at the time I thought it was fresh green grass, so I ate it!!
:pThat's my story and I'm stickin' to it!! LOL. :)

Seriously though, God is trying to tell you a couple of things through this experience. 1.) NEVER leave your wallet in an unlocked vehicle; 2.) dont be such a money glutton, and 3.) keep a very close eye on ladybugs from now on!!! LOL!!
