As long as compliments are decent n' respectable, it doesn't matter if they're coming from a male or female. Accept them in a graceful, humble, loving way and return them with kind words and sweet smile. 
Yep.She's a very sweet lady and I know for a fact she has good intentions. While I do accept compliments most of the time, (but sometimes getting them from guys is super weird for some reason. Though I don't get a lot of compliments from guys anyways. So not a big issue for me. lol) I don't let them go to my head. I'm just not that kind of person...not to say sometimes I don't have pride. Though sometimes it's more the self-entitlement kind which I hate that...I don't know why sometimes I'm the very thing I dislike.

i've always been an extrovert, but a very private one at that. i think if that window was another 15 minutes longer, i'd end up deleting half of my posts.

No, I can't say I have the desire to do the same but I do get embarrassed when I've misspelled a word or something (in my haste) and then don't have time to edit the post and someone quotes my post! It happens more regularly than I'd like.

I post and at the .02 seconds after the edit window closes I realize I made a spelling mistake from typing fast!!

yeah, that makes me crazy! i do voice to text for a lot of my stuff, and sometimes i don't check it very carefully. i've also had some close calls.
from what i can tell you seem to do a pretty good job of proofing. : )
Speaking of avatars, you should all post pictures of yourselves so I can see who I'm talking to. I'm a visual rememberer.

I type with 2 fingers...and according to the dude I am staying with who is currently sitting behind & off to the side of me watching tv,I type faster than most people who know how to type. lol
@GLR...you've seen my pic on here before...dreadful. lol I can't post my pic as an avatar now because I am not on my comp,but you should thank the good Lord for this. Oh and btw...I look even more devestatingly handsome (not) than last,since I have had my lovely locks chopped before I left Maine on my adventure of a lifetime.
(good thing I don't get my strength from my hair...I keep those powers stored in pockets of my rapier wit)

what's up with my shoes? oh, i don't know. there's no real orchestrated or well-thought out plan. but i like to think that boots are a way of life--or maybe just my life. i wear boots everyday (since i'm around horses).
it's a way of expressing myself without feeling too... expressed. : )

Boots are the way to go. I also wear them daily I wear them 90% of the time. I love knee high socks and boots. I guess everyone has that one thing that makes them feel ready to take on the world for me that has always been boots =]
