It feels a little like being struck by lightning

But it feels nice  my nerve endings really are whacked, i think XD

Papa GOD has been so wonderful!!! i never expected anything like this to happen. HE has, truly, caught me completely by surprise, just like i prayed for :) me and Descyple are both hoping and praying for the best.

He's paying me a visit this year :) i hope seeing me in person doesn't make him immediately book a return flight to Canada on the same day when he sees me in person  i hope he, at least, waits at least 24 hours to elapse, when the shock has somewhat subsided!!! :p

I know what you mean about that lightning feeling. Dave (my husband) and I knew each other through friends and would see each other from time to time. I always thought he had a nice smile and pretty eyes. But he lived away at college. Anyhow when we first really started talking and getting to know each other and decided to take the next step, I had the lightning, kind of this feel's right feeling.

I am sure he will be happy to see you and not run. If he does that, tell me. I'm not that far from Canada. I will drive up, dumpster dive at a Tim Hortons. I will give everyone at the airport stale donuts. We will throw them at him as he walks off the plane!

I pray this works out well for you two. You guys crack me up in here. Especially when you said he'd have to be the pretty one. That's funny. But you never know were you might meet someone and usually it's when you least expect it.

Ouch....first time I've ever stayed up for 24 hours nearly straight. Less than an hour of sleep.

I blame it on the 4 cups of coffee. 4!! Oy.

I'm soooo taking the day off for most food stuff (not because I wanna starve myself...my stomach is just not wanting to cooperate right now since I ate some things I shouldn't have. Just gonna give myself a break for the most part. :) )

Awwww that's awesome. :) Azure I truly hope this works out for you. ♥ You display such an amazing faith and a wonderful sense of humor, a guy would have to be blind and deaf not to see how awesome you are. :D

You know what's dumb? Having to get up and leave your house to go to the grocery store. Having to go out and purchase like, food and stuff...totally ridiculous.

In other news....
Ever find yourself in the middle of a situation that you never, not in a million years, could have seen coming, would never have even imagined until it actually happened, only to find out that it's sort of really something that you've been missing your entire life without ever knowing that's what you were missing? Like you just kind of fall into it, because it's so easy, so natural, so good? And you wonder sometimes what your life was like before, like looking back at your past through this foggy window or something...and yeah, maybe you can use your sleeve or whatever to wipe a spot clear and you get that little glimpse of what things used to look like for you...which only makes you more grateful, more appreciative, of where you are now?

And you can't even really describe it or explain it, it's just this amazing thing, just this constant glow inside of you, in your heart, this bright, colorful patch surrounded by drab grays and muddy browns and while you still slog through all the other junk, you don't even really mind because with every dragging step, with each move you make, you're heading towards this...this light, this refreshing and wonderful bit of perfection....and you know when you get there, when you get to it, all of the colors, all of the shining light, will just surround you and will be yours to keep forever, and while maybe there will occasionally be more of the darkness ahead once in a while, or more bleak surroundings, a little more trudging through sometimes...

It doesn't matter because you know that the vivid colors will never fade. You know that you never have to turn around and go back to living in black and white. You know, in your heart, that this, this glittering jewel in your life, is for you, and you never have to let it go.

...does that sound as insane as I think it does?
No you are being taught from God and shown this in Spirit and abounds so deep that you are amazed at God's amazing Love through son given to you, and not earned ever
That is what saved is, from God through Son, and today you are responding to God for this gift.
Loving every minute of it

So...I've seen a lot of posts regarding hope recently and how vital it is to our lives, here's my question, what good is hope if there's nothing to fulfill it? I don't want the cheesy "Jesus died for you blah blah blah" christiany answer. If you're hoping for better, and God shows you where to go, and it's not delivered, what good has that hope done for you?
I guess this would have to be what am I in hope for? So maybe start there?
What are you in hope for? Read James about asking and not receiving and why we don't receive, especially if we ask amiss
Motive friend, is key to life everlasting at least from where I see it.

Lately I've been in a strange...mood? perspective? I don't know the word for it.

I think the reason is because I'm letting God speak to me and I'm actually listening.
Continue to listen and grow into Father through Son
Colossians 1:23 if ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

WHY IS EVERYTHING MAKING ME CRYYYY. I watch a music video, it brings tears to my eyes. I watch one of those "Stories behind the song" things, it brings tears to my eyes.

Man. I gotta hold myself together. lol

Nothing wrong with crying, it cleanses the soul, and is good to let it go and not build up. I cry to this day, and am not ashamed of it.
Be you, and wise at the same time, there is a time for everything.

So frustrated right now, I'm trying not to let my emotions get the best of me......
Maybe in place of trying to stop the feelings and change them
Maybe change the thoughts and watch the feelings having no choice but to change with the new thoughts, amazing how this works.
Try to be angry without any angry thoughts, feelings always follow whatever thought (s) have the preoccupation of.
We all are designed this way. go to a scary movie and be not scared, yet we get scared, because our emotions always follows our thought, whether our thought is truth or not
hope this helps in your future endeavors of emotions verses thought process

My word of the day: anticipation
Creates many times unrealistic expectations, and when expectations are thwarted, then anger immediately follows, and emotions lead truth into error
Kind of like the Caboose of the train in the lead, not good, but in many cases a reality for most, and try to control emotions, when emotions can't be controlled except by truth, and truth is found in Christ

Some mistakes, you can't get away from. Things you'd rather forget follow you and create drama and try to screw up anything that might be good in your future.

Not that it isn't my fault. Should never have even so much as set foot on that path to begin with.
Just continue to learn from all things whether good or bad as you are doing Sister, wow!!!!!!!!

It is a crazy world, but in the end we will all be the same; if we believe in Jesus.

1 John 3:2-3 Beloved, now we are to be sons of God, and it does not yet appear what we will be, but we know that when He is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him as he is.
we are all growing into perfection (maturity) read Hebrews 5:10 - 6:6 quite interesting, some real steak to eat, and notice if God permits, so ask God to permit you to grow into God's perfection?

We had rain last night and it froze, so the parking lot for work was glazed over. I fell a couple of weeks ago and my foot is still tender, and I am terrified of walking in this stuff. I am somewhat of a klutz without ice so...yeah.

So, walking to the building I kept sliding away, because of the slight decline in the parking lot. I felt so helpless. It was also a bit humorous. Thankfully, the maintenance guy saw me and came out and he helped me walk in.

I love winter, and the snow. Just not the slick I-shall-shuffle-like-a-penguin part of it.

Rachel, buy those things you slip over your shoes that are called Ice cleats, I think. I have some they work well. I'm terrified of ice. I think Wal-Mart sells them.

It is surprisingly difficult just to get out of the house some mornings.
I planned to leave two hours ago.
Yet here I am, still in my pajamas, children crying at me, everything chaotic...

*sigh*

I may or may not survive the day.

I remember when my kids were as young as yours. It was hard to get everyone moving and get everything together that I had to take with us.

Now they're 7 and 8 and it hasn't changed. Sigh, you'll survive.

I was going to ask, do you have a MOPS in your area? Mother's of Preschoolers? Then there is MOPS next. You can do a search on their web page. Just google MOPS and it will come up.

When my kids were tots I was part of a MOPS group. I made a lot of friends and had support when I needed it.

I hate my hair today. I know hate is a strong word, but I hate it. I promised my main squeeze I'd let it grow. I'm trying, I do want it longer, I think I need a trim.

When I go in to get my hair done, if it doesn't look totally different I think, what's the point? But I could have it thinned out, and layered.
