That awkward moment when you tailgate an irritatingly slow driver for miles, only to see them turn into the church parking lot ahead of you, and realize it's a sweet elderly lady who sits near you for worship.

When I was much younger, I was sitting with five friends around the table after an event. I got a text from my boyfriend asking how the day was (he was unable to attend due to work.) In the middle of the text I wrote some not very nice comments about a mutual friend sitting at the table. At the last minute I decided to erase those comments.

After I sent the text I heard the phone of this mutual friend go off. Something inside of me told me instantly that I made a mistake. I did! He gave me a funny look but no harm was done because I erased the comments at the last minute!
 
I was climbing out of my semi-trailer one day at a truck stop and it had been raining hard. There was a group of truckers standing near where I pulled up and the step on my truck was wet. As I climbed out I slipped off the step and fell to the ground. The awkward moment came when I noticed that they weren't sure if they should laugh or not, and I wasn't sure what direction I should look in. I just stood up, lifted my chin up and walked past them with a slight grin and a bright red face trying to hide my limp. Very awkward.
 
That awkward moment when you meet someone new and then just immediately forget their name.

That awkward moment when you dream about your boss, and will see him in a few hours and feel weird even though you shouldn't cus it was just a dream.
 
I live on a sailboat a few hundred yards across form the beach where their is a parking lot everyone parks at to watch the sun go down. One night I was walking and saw a woman who look just like a nurse I know from my doctors office, and I went up to her car window and said "hey Stacy" and the woman looked at me with a very troubled look on her face, as if to be hiding a bit of fear, it was getting dark...And I do have a look of someone that has a few hard mile on him...lol...No pepper spray, so it went ok after all...lol
 
That awkward moment when you've called a business and had to leave a message, and when they return your call, the first thing you say is, "Did you get my message?"

...because they MIGHT have been calling just to shoot the breeze...

I'm....smart.
 
White tank tops and t-shirts have become sexualized. Can't wear one without getting stared at. Purple tanktops, blue ones, black ones no problem. BUT white 0.0, oh my goodness.
