That awkward moment when someone's reading over your shoulder, and they know you hate it!!!! And yet you just don't know how to tell them to go away.
 
That awkward moment when you are in the store with your stepbrother and he grabs you by the arm screaming "mommy!!! Mom!!! Why don't you love me
Anymore mommy!!! Why did you try to and leave me?!!! Mommy??? Ahhhhh!!! Pleasr don't beat me again!!!!"

That awkward moment when you make eye contact with a guy across a show store... It's mutual... He is obviously about to say something to you... And the. Your step brother runs across the store jumps on you throws his arms around your neck screaming "mommmmmmy don't ever leave me again!!!! I love you mommy!!!! Why do you keep running away!!!"

*sigh*
 
That awkward moment when you're on the phone with a new propane company because the one you used to go through has a less than capable secretary, and this company's secretary is so competent that she's firing questions at you and you suddenly can't remember your last name, or your address, or your phone number. And she stops and goes, "Are you okay? I can slow down..." And you feel really stupid so you say, "No it's okay, I'm just not good with inquisitions."

At least she laughed, I guess.
 
that very awkward moment when a 6 year old daughter goes to the front of the sanctuary for the Easter "children's sermon" and when the pastor notices the pretty dress she has on and tells her so (mic in hand) she replies "thank you, mommy says it's a b##ch to iron".
 
When you meet a bunch of her in-laws for the first time, and the person you end up slapping on the back is her ex; who is still close to the family! @%^^%*&)+
 
When you spot a meter maid by your car and you have to race to your door to avoid a ticket

When everyone tries to out-obnoxious each other by saying hump DAAAAY at work. (Thanks GEICO)

When someone is the only one to rush to their feet to leave because they misinterpreted a lull in discussion as the meeting being over, and everyone else just kind of stares at him like they're waiting for an announcement. (Happened yesterday, and I was laughing inconsolably long after it was over)
 
The awkward moment when you are so immuned with your "wake up or die" alarm clock, you keep on snoozing it because you want to sleep another 5 minutes or so.... Want to know another alternative? ANT BITE is the answer. Lol. That sure made me wide awake. O.o

Happened to me yesterday except I was on the recieving end of it. I was out exercising, and some guy yells 'Paul!'. I look over and he has that look 'whoops' and looks over at the person next to him in embarrasment. I tend to be on the recieving end of it since Im asian and apparently from profile view we all look similar.
 
That awkward moment when you say something and re-think it, only to realize you're a totally vain jerkwad.

Also, that awkward moment when a baby deer (yes, yes, a fawn, I know) startles you and you fling your coffee, and only after yelling about it do you realize your neighbor saw the whole thing.


 
How about an awkward moment that took several hours to make and just now, lucky me!! . Let's see now - I've been to work, went to a Starbucks, climbed a ladder in an office full of women, had lunch - I brought it so I sat out on a bench kinda spreadeagle like and just now realize I left the ole barn door open - the ole garage door wasn't shut - nope - the zipper was open and taking requests.

Nice. Now that was awkward. I'll be (f-f-friendship) glad this day is over.
