Question #1 : Were the miraculous tongues spoken at pentecost earthly languages ?
Question #2 : What language did God's messengers (angels) ever speak but the language of the people/person to whom God's message was given ?
Question #3 : If there are in fact "tongues of angels", is it a different language/dialect than God's ?

If you call having a day off after a ton of 12 hour work days "coming out of the woodwork", have at it. You always seem to be present. Is that what you're referring to ? Were the miraculous tongues at pentecost earthly languages Stephen ? It's a simple question.
That's how I understand the passage. The passage says they heard them speaking in those languages, not that they weren't speaking in those languages but the people perceived that to be the case. But there is no reason to think that the Spirit is unable or unwilling to enable believers to speak in languages other than those 18 or so languages.
We aren't given that many details about angels. When they spoke to humans, it is likely that they spoke in human languages. One could postulate the humans were given the ability to understand angelic tongues and wrote their messages in Hebrew, Greek, or Aramaic, but that would be speculation. If angels spoke in human languages, that doesn't mean there could not be tongues of angels. The reason why tongues of angels comes up is because Paul suggests speaking in tongues of angels in a list of kind of extreme, but mostly possible, things someone could do.
I don't see anywhere in scripture where this issue is addressed. Are you asking for speculation?

Well, it is clear from the passage that this could happen. Someone who had a gift to speak in tongues could do so, even if there was no interpreter, and had to decided to obey the instruction to keep silent in the church. Just like, a few verses later, a genuine prophet could choose to obey or disobey the scripture to hold his peace when another sitting by receives a revelation. Paul says 'the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.' If that's hard to get your head around or accept, it's still how God designed the gifts.
On Mount Carmel, Elijah prayed, and God sent fire from heaven. Do you remember after that when soldiers were coming for Elijah, he kept calling down fire from heaven. Finally, one soldier begged for mercy for himself and his soldiers and the LORD told Elijah not to be afraid, and he went with the soldiers.

In both cases, the groups were listening to the apostles because they already knew their language. But I'm sure you'll find something to spin it in another direction.

UMM Uncle if anyone was reading the last poll on tongues or the gifts (Can't quite remember which it was) we were out numbered 44-4. (Despite those who insist it's the other way around)
