There is no use even trying to put these things
you have quoted in their true perspective for
spiritual things are spiritually discerned.

Anyone who object the Scriptures can quote
difficult passages and use them to show that
the Bible is a mere human invention full or
errors and false teachings.

Anyone wishing to find pegs in the Bible
or in the Spirit of Prophecy to hang his
doubts upon will find them.
You can not justify a false prophecy. These were not her opinions. She claimed to of received them from God or angels. Anyone who even sets a specific date is already in hot water as Jesus already told us "No man knows the day or hour.."

Seventh Day Adventists are left without excuse as they are following a false prophet who willing plagiarized materials. Stop trying to say wrong is right and open your eyes!

At the end of the day, as Apostate Protestantism
shall make an image to the papacy in the U.S. and
enforce the observance of Sunday by wielding the
power of the State, many will find themselves in
a very embarassing situation, realizing, too late,
that all these years they had been fighting against
God and His last message of mercy to the world.

These will have no choice but to swallow up every
idle word that they had so carelessly and so boldly
uttered against the humble and meek instrument of
God. They shall see, then, that Ellen White was,
after all, a true messenger of God.

Then they would give the whole world if they could redeem
the past, and be just as zealous men, moved by the
Spirit of God to lift their voice in solemn warning to the
world, and to be in principle firm as a rock.

"What is the message to be given at this time? It is the
third angel's message. But that light which is to fill the
whole earth with its glory has been despised by some
who claim to believe present truth. Be careful how you
treat it. Take off the shoes from off your feet, for you
are on holy ground. Beware how you indulge the
attributes of Satan, and pour contempt upon the
manifestations of the Holy Spirit
. I know not but some
have even now gone too far to return and to repent
."
Testimonies to Ministers, 89-90.

God wants to make us perfect. The law does not do that. We are being washed from the inside out, not the outside in.

Hebrews 7:18 The former regulation is set aside because it was weak and useless 19 (for the law made nothing perfect), and a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God.

Hebrews 12:22 But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, 23 to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, 24 to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

Ephesians 5:25
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her 26 to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, 27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.
Hebrews 2:10 For it was fitting that he, for whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the founder of their salvation perfect through suffering.

Therefore the Law has become our tutor to lead us to Christ, so that we may be justified by faith. But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor (the law). For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:24-26
The law teaches us that we need God. It never saved or edified anyone.

Have you not yet learned the diference
between the letter of the law (engraved
on stones or written with ink) and that
same law proceeding out of the mouth
of God which is the law of the Spirit of
Life in Christ Jesus? (Rom.8:2)

"The law of the Lord (proceeding out of His
mouth) is perfect, converting the soul."
Psaume 19:7.

The letter of the law of God cannot impart
life. It can only convince us of sin and of
our need of a Saviour. It is as cold as the
stones it is engraved upon or as dry as
the ink it is written with. It can only be
the ministry of condemnation and
death. "The letter kills." 2 Cor.3:5.

As we come to Jesus and rest in the
merits of His shed blood, that same law
becomes the voice of God speaking to us
from heaven and the voice of God imparts
power, it begets life and thus every command
becomes a most positive promise of its own
fulfillment.

"The words that I SPEAK unto you,"
Jesus said, "they are Spirit and they are life."
John 6:63.

Therefore, received as the voice of God
speaking to the soul, the precepts of
His law create a new man in Christ
Jesus and transform the nature.

"This is my comfort in my affliction, for
Your word has given me life.
" Psalm 119:50.

"I will never forget Your precepts; for with
them You have given me life
." Psalam 119:93.

We are to approach God through the merits of
the Saviour and receive His law from His mouth.

"Man shall not live by bread alone but by every
word that proceeds out of the mouth of God, shall
man live
." Matt.4:4.

"Receive, I pray thee, the law from His mouth."
Job 22:22.

Then it becomes the "ministry of the Spirit,"
the "ministry of righteousness", (2 Cor.3:8)
as it is written, "The Spirit is life because of
righteousness
." Rom.10:8.

"For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast." Eph. 2:8_9

"because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin...For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law." Romans 3:20, 28

"nevertheless knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we may be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the Law; since by the works of the Law shall no flesh be justified." Gal. 2:16

Romans 6:14 - For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

Romans 10:4 - For Christ [is] the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Romans 3:20 - Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law [is] the knowledge of sin.

The law of God's mouth is "the Word of His grace." Acts 20:32.

His spoken word is "filled with grace and truth." John 1:14.

The words of His mouth are "the words of eternal life." John 6:63,68.

"I know that His commandment (from His mouth) is life everlasting." John 12:50.

Receive the law of God not as the word of man but as it is in
truth the word of God which also effectively works in you
who believe. (1 Thess.2:13)

That law of ten commandments which Christ spoke on
Sinai was meant to impart life to the hearers.

"The commandment which was to bring life..." Rom.7:10.

But instead it "was found to bring death" (Rom.7:10)
because the Israelites were afraid of the Voice and they
asked Moses to speak to them instead. (Exodus 20:19)
If they had understood that the voice which they heard
was "a ministration of life" they would not have
asked Moses to speak to them instead. They would have
been converted by that voice. (Psalm 19:7) They would
have received the life of God. Christ spoke the law that
that they might have life and have it more abundantly if
they had trusted wholly in the merits of a Savior to come.

Thus we are made to understand what the Holy Spirit means
when He says that Christ is the "end" of the law. He is the
the purpose of the law both of the letter and the voice. The first
shows us our need of Him and the second imparts His life to the
sinner who rests in the merits of His infinite sacrifice.

Many today are like the Israelites at Sinai.

Romans 3:20 - Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law [is] the knowledge of sin.

This is talking about the man whose ears have not yet been opened
to hear the voice of God in His law.

No man shall be justified by trying to fulfill the letter of the law
by his own efforts. But the man who receives that law as the
voice of God speking to his soul in promise, receives the life of
God which enables him to work the works of God (Eph.2:10)
and that man is justified and sanctified through the merits of
Jesus.

In the beginning Christ said, "Let there be light! And there was light."

For "He spoke and it was done! He commanded and it stood fast." Psalm 33:9.

His word is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

The same word that spoke the universe into existence, which said to the
earth, "Bring forth grass," speaks to us in the words of His law!

Proceeding out of His mouth, that law is not a hard, lifeless decree, which
weak mortals are to strive in vain to keep, while God watches them with
a stern eye ready to taunt and punish them for failure. We know "that
His commandment is life everlasting
." John 12:50.

As we daily come to God just as we are, sinful, helpless,
dependent, trusting wholly in the merits of the blood shed for us
upon Calvary's cross, that word which says "You shall love the Lord
your God with all your heart and your neighbour as yourself
," sheds
that love abroad in our hearts, just as the word of God brings forth
the fruit in the plant!

Then well we may sing:

"How gentle God's commands!
How kind His precepts are
."

very important though to lead us to Christ, and we shall know the truth and the truth shall set us free
There is nothing in this world that can come close to the importance of becoming a Christian. This is why all of Heaven rejoices when a person accepts Jesus.

______________

All Heaven rejoices when a person accepts Jesus as a
personal Saviour. True but accepting Jesus has become
a mere "cliché".

The new birth is a very rare experience nowadays.
There is not even one in one hundred who
understands for himself the Bible truth on this
subject that is so necessary to our present and
eternal welfare.

There is nothing new under the sun. It was the
same in the days of Christ. Take Nicodemus for
example, a man in high position of trust. He
sought an interview with Jesus at night, saying,

"Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come
from God: for no man can do these miracles
that you do, except God be with him
."

All this was true, as far as it went, but what did
Jesus say? He answered and said unto him,

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a man be born again,
he cannot see the kingdom of God
."

Now if a man like Nicodemus needed to be born
again, what does that say about the common
people of his day who looked up to their spiritual
leaders for guidance?

I believe it is the same today.

I am born again and look forward to being with Jesus. I have seen brief glimpses of Him and long for more. I can only hope that I run the race with endurance and cross the finish line in His arms.

As for myself I will leave it to God to say whether
I am or not. It is not for me to say. God is the sole
Judge of that. At the end of his life the apostle Paul
confessed himself to be the chief of sinners (1 Tim.

He was imbued with the spirit of the Gospel having
a deep sense of his unworthiness.

In the parable of the two worshipers the Pharisee judged
himself to be righteous (born again) whereas the
Publican who was despised by the Pharisee standing
near him would not even dare looking up to heaven and
he kept accusing himself.

Who went down to his house justified?

And through belief in Christ's finished work of the cross where the death cleansed us to ne Holy for God to come and live in us, God gives us a heart transplant, where we are born again in the Spirit of God, proof is in the resurrected Christ.
And unless one decides to be dead to self as Saul decided when he became Paul, he was through with the self and was so co-crucified with Christ at the cross, where God showed him this as the doorway to see the new life in God
Phil. 3 pretty clear on this. Read it and trust God to show us this and be set free in him, trusting God to do in us what we can't do in self

and Paul decided to have no confidence in flesh and counted all he did in the flesh as self-righteousness, saying rubbish that was and is. therefore wanting and desiring to be conformed to Christ's death, so that through that he could see the resurrection, that god had for him in the Spirit.
Which today is the only way God can be worshipped, Spirit not flesh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Ten Commandments are a summary of the Old Covenant
Exodus 34:28 “So he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights. He neither ate bread nor drank water. And he wrote on the tablets the word of the covenant, the Ten Commandments.
Exodus 31:18 “And he gave to Moses when he had finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai, the two tablets of the testimony, tablets of stone, written with the finger of God.
Deut 4:13 “And he declared to you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, that is, the Ten Commandments, and he wrote them on two tablets of stone”.
Deut 9:9 “When I went up the mountain to receive the tablets of stone, the tablets of the covenant that the Lord made with you.”
Deut 9:11 “And at the end of forty days and forty nights the Lord gave me the two tablets of stone, the tablets of the covenant.”
The Old Covenant was an agreement between God and Israel, not God and Christians
Ex 31:12-17 And the Lord said to Moses, “You are to speak to the people of Israel and say, ‘Above all you shall keep my Sabbaths, for this is a sign between me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I, the Lord, sanctify you. You shall keep the Sabbath, because it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it shall be put to death. Whoever does any work on it, that soul shall be cut off from among his people. Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, holy to the Lord. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day shall be put to death. Therefore the people of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, observing the Sabbath throughout their generations, as a covenant forever. It is a sign forever between me and the people of Israel that in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested and was refreshed.”
The Old Covenant is no longer in effect for ANYONE
Heb 8:13-9:4 In speaking of a new covenant, he makes the first one obsolete. And what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away. Now even the first covenant had regulations for worship and an earthly place of holiness. For a tent was prepared, the first section, in which were the lampstand and the table, and the bread of the Presence. It is called the Holy Place. Behind the second curtain was a second section called the Most Holy Place, having the golden altar of incense and the ark of the covenant covered on all sides with gold, in which was a golden urn holding the manna, and Aaron’s staff that budded, and the tablets of the covenant.
Gal 3:17 This is what I mean: the law, which came 430 years afterwards, does not annul a covenant previously ratified by God, so as to make the promise void.
Gal 3:19 Why then the law? It was added because of transgressions, until the offspring should come to whom the promise had been made, and it was put in place through angels by an intermediary.
Gal 3:24 So the law was our guardian until Christ came, in order that we might be justified by faith
Gal 3:25 But now that faith is come, we are no longer under a guardian
2 Cor 3:4-18 Such is the confidence that we have through Christ toward God. Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God, who has made us sufficient to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. Now if the ministry of death, carved in letters on stone, came with such glory that the Israelites could not gaze at Moses’ face because of its glory, which was being brought to an end, will not the ministry of the Spirit have even much more glory? For if there was glory in the ministry of condemnation, the ministry of righteousness must far exceed it in glory. Indeed, in this case, what once had glory has come to have no glory at all, because of the glory that surpasses it. For if what was being brought to an end came with glory, much more will what is permanent have glory. Since we have such a hope, we are very bold, not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face so that the Israelites might not gaze at the outcome of what was being brought to an end. But their minds were hardened. For to this day, when they read the old covenant, that same veil remains unlifted, because only through Christ is it taken away. Yes, to this day whenever Moses is read a veil lies over their hearts. But when one turns to the Lord, the veil is removed. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.
The Sabbath, as part of the Old Covenant, is not in affect for ANYONE
Gal 4:10 You observe days and months and seasons and years! I am afraid I may have labored over you in vain.
Rom 14:5-6 One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind.
Col 2:16-17 Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath. These are a shadow of the things to come, but the substance belongs to Christ
Jesus is our Sabbath or spiritual rest, and we enter into that spiritual rest by placing our faith in Him
Matt 11:28-30 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and lean from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
Heb 4:1-8 Therefore, while the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us fear lest any of you should seem to have failed to reach it. For good news came to us just as to them, but the message they heard did not benefit them, because they were not united by faith with those who listened. For we who have believed enter that rest, as he has said, “As I swore in my wrath, They shall not enter my rest. “ although his works were finished from the foundation of the world. For he has somewhere spoken of the seventh day in this way: “And God rested on the seventh day from all his works.” And again in this passage he said, “They shall not enter my rest.”. Since therefore it remains for some to enter it, and those who formerly received the good news failed to enter because of disobedience, again he appoints a certain day, “Today”, saying through David so long afterward, in the words already quoted. “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.” For if Joshua had not given them rest, God would not have spoken of another day later on. So then there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, for whoever has entered God’s rest has also rested from is works as God did from his. Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience.
Christians are under the New Covenant, which has much higher demands and different commandments
Luke 22:20 And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood.”
Heb 9:15 Therefore, he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant.
Jn 13:34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.
Jn 15:12 This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
Jn 15:17 These things I command you, so that you will love one another
Rom 13:10 Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
I am a former Sabbathkeeper due to my association as a new believer with Worldwide Church of God (now called Grace Communion International). Worldwide Church of God came to realize in 1995 that Christians are under the New Covenant, and not the Old Covenant, and the Sabbath does not apply to Christians under the New Covenant. It was a sign of the Old Covenant (like baptism and the Lord’s Supper are signs of the New Covenant), and is not a moral absolute like Sabbathkeepers claim. Sabbathkeeping doctrine invariably takes the focus off the true gospel, which is about Jesus Christ and salvation by grace through faith in Him (Eph 2:8-9). As a Sabbathkeeper, I rarely heard messages about God’s grace and love; the message of such organizations invariably focuses on the Sabbath. Jesus Christ was also placed on the backburner and was not the focus of their teaching. If you would like good sources of information in regards to the Sabbath check out Grace Communion International’s website at https://www.gci.org/law I now attend an Evangelical Free church that focuses on Jesus Christ and salvation through Him, which is the true gospel.
