Your Oven? you're right that is nutsy... it should be able to get up to at least 500 degrees in there.

Today the high was 83.

I paid $3.77 today for gas, and I actually filled up the tank!

It's a little odd for the temp to get up to 113 in June. It probably means that California is cursed or God just doesn't like the Central Valley.

well, my little prince is finally out of the shower... I'm gonna go give him some well deserved face time.
I may be back later... or just fall asleep folding laundry or something like that.

My wee terrier had Two presents for me this afternoon. A mole and a grackle. Never seen a dog that catches that many birds.

I had a cat leave a dead bird for me once at work. But it didn't look like he just killed it. It looked like that bird fought back with a vengeance and there were feathers everywhere. I appreciated the gesture, but it looked like the bird exploded.

my terrier brings me all sorts of trophies. any mice though, she eats. she did bring me Half a rat once.
Ah the joys of country livin here on the edge of the city.

my neighbors were talking about a rat snake they relocated. it was a 5 footer. didn't have the heart to top them with the 8 foot blacksnake we let live in the barn when I was working on the dairy... it took care of anything that come in on the grain truck that wasn't grain, plus wasn't a cow killer. Sometimes its a real good thing to have a snake around.

I can see the validity in having the snake in the barn, but I still had a pulse of panic at the thought of walking into a building that housed a snake.

gonna post us a pic?
Maybe tomorrow when I have natural sunlight to take a picture with. The lights in my house aren't making them show the true color!

I'm in such a strange mood right now. I just want to cry. Over nothing in particular, just feel like I need to. I think I'm just tired.

tired is something that I've gotten used to... the need to cry, now that's something that I hope to never get used to. Ever. That's called callous, and that is something that I can only afford to Pretend to be.

Rachel, there's nothing wrong with having a good cry. It helps to have a reason but I've learned not to try to fix girls when they're feeling down.
