Yes it does. You are saying that a weather event this year will dramatically impact climate change, a number that will be calculated by averaging a 100 year time span. But what about next years numbers, how can I know if climate change has changed till I take that into account?
We don't look at individual events as impacting climate until we have had a chance to average them in. We had several major hurricanes in the US in the last few decades and yet none of them when averaged in had an impact on climate indicating "climate change".

Aren't you embarrassed by all the bogus predictions made by Climate change alarmists? You would think by now instead of telling us the rate "is going to rise" dramatically they would be pointing to data showing that it "had risen dramatically". It is always "this year is going to be so bad then you will know".
According to Al Gore Miami should be under water by now. According to AOC we should all be gasping for breath and near death by now.
Where is the shame and repentance for being false prophets?
Al Gore's "an inconvenient truth" came out in 2006 and was based on data prior to that. You now have 20 years of data since that movie, go ahead, analyze that data instead of giving us more false predictions.

The evidence that they have accumulated seems to suggest that the temperatures of the oceans are not going to cool down this year.

The same week in 2004 we have had 30 earthquakes that are 5.0 or greater.
The same week in 1984 was 38 earthquakes that were 5,0 or greater
The same week in 1964 was 24 earthquakes that were 5,0 or greater

Climate change is the weirdest thing. We know our governments are corrupt, they sell out to the highest bidder. We know they'll scream and shout about how $4 billion for a wall on our Southern border is too expensive and yet won't bat an eye about sending $140 billion to defend Ukraine's border. Yet we are to believe that they all around the globe are uniting against this existential threat which is going to flood us out of our cities by 2020. Now it is true, sea level has risen by a few centimeters over the last 120 years or so. But think of the radical changes they are proposing to help slow the relentless change, perhaps from 5 centimeters every 120 years down to 1 or 2 centimeters every 120 years. They want to do away with gasoline, and pretty much all fossil fuels. Is that possible? No, there are many scientists who have crunched the numbers and try to explain to the illiterate masses that this is a pipe dream. They want us all to switch to electric cars and yet our electricity is generated by coal fired plants. It has been shown that there is no net reduction in the use of fossil fuel, it seems idiotic to spend all this money and get nothing in return. But it is worse, they spend billions to build a few charging stations, a tiny fraction of the number of gas stations currently available. But this is only the tip of the iceberg. They want to reduce how much meat you eat and replace your protein with bugs. They want a digital currency that will monitor your carbon footprint and deny payment when you exceed it. This means you better fast for a month before taking an airplane to go visit for thanksgiving.
But suppose for a second the people behind these rules are not idiots. Perhaps there is a very compelling reason for this. If they can switch to a Central Bank Digital Currency the government would have complete control over what you can buy or sell. On one hand that his a good thing, every single transaction will be taxed and the government will get more revenue. It will be easy to catch anyone doing anything illegal that involves money. It will certainly make it easy to catch terrorists. But there is a dark side. Suppose they don't like you protesting. Canada tried to freeze the bank accounts of truckers who were protesting. Suppose you criticize the government on Facebook and the next day your bank account is frozen. Now that is real power. Also, suppose you want to go down to protest at the border and you discover you have exceeded your "carbon footprint" and can no longer buy gasoline, much less a hamburger.
Sure it sounds like something out of the Twilight zone. But suppose it is really something out of the AI future. They are predicting AI will take 50% of the jobs in three years. How are you going to deal with the protests with all these people who have become jobless? Suppose the CBDC is simply there way to prepare for the hordes that will be going onto welfare. Suppose the whole Climate Change stick by an angry teenage girl and a bar maid is their way to get the illiterate masses to agree to the CBDC. Suppose that the Pandemic was a dress rehearsal. Australia tried having quarantine camps in the outback, China tried locking people into their apartment buildings, Canada tried freezing bank accounts and the US tried manipulating people with social media and the MSM. Imagine if they do this in the future only use all four tools. Imagine if they had a CBDC as a fifth tool.

Sea temperature are rising , how can sea temperatures rise if the planet is cooling?
As for the late Sir Richard Attenborough and his followers, all he talked about was north & south pole ice caps melting , not only that IT IS ALL THE ICE IN THE MOUNTAINS COMING DOWN TO SEA LEVEL AS WELL., how can ice retreat if the earth is getting colder
AND why is it we have not seen the sea level rise to the prediction, there has been hundreds of dams built to soak up a lot of the water that would otherwise make the high water mark at the beaches move higher up the beach.
New Zealand built a dam in the south island that is a earthquake risk, flooding very productive farming land, Russia did, look down into the water you can see railway tracks and train stations, China the largest dam in the world, USA made a dam to generate electricity during peak electrical use times, then outside peak time, they pump the water back up to full up the dam ready for the next day heavy electricity usage. there more stories of dams built to soak up melting ice not only at the two poles but also up in the mountains, Someone could write a good book if they did a bit of research, Near where I live there is a duck pond, seagull use it to wash themselves, I should take a thermometer along on a hot day and measure the temperature, I beat it is a lot hotter then the rising sea temperatures.

Climate change!! Why not hit the target and say Global warming? Why do we have people that want to keep their head in the sand.
Early 2023 it was reported on New Zealand TV news that sea temperatures are rising, HOW CAN sea temperatures rise if the earth is cooling?
So we get higher water temperature and faster water evaporation. But they do not talk about rising temperatures in thousands of water dams or lakes around the world.

It either comes down as heavier snow to make it look like the planet is getting colder or heavier rain in the middle of summer,
Or is it people are just too lazy to put warmer clothing on in the middle of winter. Try this out in the middle of winter, walk around Auckland CBD for example Karangahape Road, you will see people outside choking the footpath space sitting at tables drinking hot drinks in their summer clothing with heaters beaming down on them, then go inside you will see the place empty and the place is a lot warmer.
GREAT, so now with heavier snow, heavier summer rain, not only that people are dying like flys inside because it is too hot to go outside in a summer heatwave, as been reported around the world.
And where is most of all this sea rise gone apart from land disappearing into the sea, many countrys around the world have build water dams to soak up the melting ice from up the mountains,
Just before the French revolution for some strange reason back in the 18th century, François-Marie Arouet Voltaire (1694-1778) a French Enlightenment writer, historian and philosopher said;
“If there’s life on other planets, then the earth is the Universe’s insane asylum.”
It looks like Voltaire had some kind of 21st century visionary powers.
