https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/22991992/uk-weather-exact-date-temperatures-plummet/

Blessings, 😊

In the UK last year throughout most of the summer we had no rain temperatures in the low to mid 30s and temperatures exceeded 40c for the first time in the UK, causing some land fires,

This year however highest temperature as being 30 Celsius in the UK with lots of rain throughout the summer and now we're seeing temperatures plummet to as low as eight Celsius this week.

The UK is currently in the height of summer.

Northeast USA has had one of the wettest seasons in history. Maine got completely affected in terms of tourism and so have many other coastal towns who depend on a influx of tourists during the season.
New York has been hit the hardest in terms of flooding and i think i read somewhere in headlines that a few people even lost their lives in landslides.

That interesting. More rain fall normally occurs when warmer air hits colder colder air.

Looks like a severe winter is looming. But how bad it gets we will have to see.

But elnino has also been linked to events befor a massive release of methane Gas from within the earth, which can trigger an ice age afterwards.

  • El Niño conditions are present and are expected to gradually strengthen into the Northern Hemisphere winter," NOAA's Climate Prediction Center said.
  • El Niño has been expected for months, but it is not yet known how strong it will be. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said there is a 56% chance of a strong El Niño developing by the winter.
  • In the U.S., El Niño is associated with wetter-than-average conditions from southern California to along the Gulf Coast, drier-than-average conditions in the Pacific Northwest and Ohio Valley, and the potential for warmer-than-average winter all across the northern part of the U.S.

A climate pattern called El Niño, which has the potential to bring warmer temperatures and more extreme weather conditions, has arrived and is expected to get stronger over the winter, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

"El Niño conditions are present and are expected to gradually strengthen into the Northern Hemisphere winter,"

Here an interesting article, which could be linked to elnino when it strengthens. Also a biblical account.

Extreme temperature changes now happening

https://www.foxweather.com/weather-news/temperature-plunge-april-2023-records

Thanks to the climate crisis, El Niño may have some competition. A new study published in Science Advances on Wednesday shows that as early as mid-century, global warming could cause an ancient climate pattern similar to El Niño in the Indian Ocean to reawaken. It would throw weather further into disarray, particularly in places in the global south that depend on rainfed agriculture.

The study builds on a previous one published by some of the same authors last year, which found that this climate pattern in the Indian Ocean may have existed during the last Ice Age,

there no such thing as global warming,:)
There is when you understand el nino.

Which is a natural phenomena.

Elnino is also linked to a rise in natural methane gas being released from the earth.

Which has happened befor man made extra release of gases.

Man made extra release of gases could be kicking of elnino to strengthen.

Scientist predict the current el nino has 60%
Chance of strengthening by February.

Some scientist are unsure how bad it could get if this happens.

The signs that are happening now, further strengthen el nino will strengthen.

Bringing severe tornadoes to the UK, which we never see.

Which means one thing.

The effect of el nino and la nino are heading further south.

Fear is a part of our DNA.

Without fear you would be open to all sorts of risks.

Fear is misrepresented.

It's natural to feal a change within the environment you live, because the body is born of that environment.

But when changes become persistently dramatic then your own senses will trigger alarm bells, telling you to go to a place of safety or, where you prepare for the worst.

Being fearless is only an accomplishment of over coming that fear at that time..

Are you saying that AOC and Greta are wrong? Should we stop and think before we give AOC a trillion dollars to fix this?

There is a lot of misinformation and lack of understanding of the term "global warming," which is unfortunate, and perplexing, too, that some make claims that seem to amount to them believing man has no deleterious effect on our environment and/or ecology. Denying that man has an effect on our environment seems foolish. The warming that is happening is at the poles, where the ice caps are experiencing phenomenal shrinkage, glaciers are retreating and disappearing at remarkable speeds, and the degradation of Greenland's permafrost continues. These changes affect ocean currents, which in turn affect our climate.

I watched a documentary on the life of David Attenborough a while ago. He has spent the majority of his life exploring the natural wonders of our world, documenting its beauty and diversity, as well as changes over time. It is called David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet, and is "a powerful first-hand account of humanity's impact on nature and a message of hope for future generations." David Attenborough is now into his nineties, and started his explorations of the natural world while quite young. Over the passage of time depicted, which is many decades, a counter shows the population growth alongside the shrinking of wildlife (both flora and fauna) and the increase of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere. They increase in lockstep. The following graph is not from the movie, but from here. The second is from the UN a few years ago.

David Attenborough also narrated (and wonderfully so) a very recent spectacularly photographed eight episode documentary on our planet called Our Planet, which was four years in the making. It has been made available on youtube; I would highly recommend it to any and all :) Here is a sample episode :)

Common sense fixes 80% of it.

1. Don't build cities in river valleys. Easy to say but that is where most of the cities are because the farmers wanted to be close to the farms when they had to walk. Now we have cars. Build cities in the hills and the mountains.

2. Don't build houses on barrier islands, again, common sense.

3. Build your house on the rock. These houses destroyed by landslides were build on or under sinking sand.

These are three simple and common sense solutions that would probably eliminate 40% of the cost of natural disasters.

Then we need to build cities that completely, 100%, recycle water. Not only so they need to greatly reduce the amount of water lost to evaporation. This can be done if you cover the area with a dome. If you do this then we can put cities in dessert areas that receive as little as 10 inches of rain a year. You could easily afford to do this because the cost of land in the built up areas like NY, California, Texas and Florida is more expensive per square foot than the cost to build a dome on a per square foot covered. These cities would have to be compact together, and use the full extent of our technology for sustainable development. But if you do this then you have solved another 40% of the problem. Also by using a dome you can make solar panels twice as efficient. Not only would they convert sunlight to electricity in an arid region that gets very little cloud cover, but they would also provide shade to the city helping to cool the city. One of the first skyscrapers was considered to be a "city". There were enough people entering the building each day to be very comparable to a city. The twin towers had 200,000 people enter the building each day. So definitely have buildings that are comparable to cities and with the modern cyber economy you could easily have vibrant, thriving cities in remote regions if they are fully modern with all the most current telecommunications.

I would also point out that water is more valuable than oil. If we have oil pipelines that criss cross the country we could also have water pipelines. If you pay for the water it would be a valuable commodity for some areas that get a lot of rain. Also they "sell" the water, so if they are in a drought they don't sell any water, simple.

Cities that recycle 100% of the water do not need to buy water year after year.

Now imagine you have flooding in the Mississippi river valley, or the NorthEast or somewhere. How nice would it be if they could pipe a whole lot of that excess water to the desert area and get paid for that as well. If you pipe water to an area of the desert above an aquifer it will simply help recharge the aquifer. So the Dessert can take as much water as you need to pipe.

So visualize this, during floods we pipe water from the flood zone to the desert. During a drought you can pipe the water back from the aquifer under the desert.

I know the scripture it says you have been given a sound mind.

oh I forgot there will never be another ice age,:)
where's the sound mind here,

Where currently in an interglacial period ice age.

And where would be your sound mind if we returns back to glacial and you had no fear ?
