i got bopped pretty hard by a horse once, and the doctor informed me that i was fortunate that i had very little cartilage in my nose--i don't have that usual bumpy part that most people do.

which is why my nose can be squished nearly flat against my face.

now it's just a cool party trick. true story.

Sun poisoning! ...No, really. Near the end of round 1, I had a red spot on my arm. During round 2, it bubbled and blistered up on me. Thankfully it's barely even there now. It healed up pretty fast thanks to nice-smelling after sun lotion.

I also have a really bad tan line...I wore short sleeves all week, so when I roll them up the rest of the way...it's like that part doesn't even belong to the same person.

awwww. you need some of my extra-heavy-duty-super-duper SPF 234324324 sun protection. it's how i maintain my supreme pastiness in spite of all my sun-soaked shenanigans.

oh, and hats too.

i hear that milk in the bath is soothing. maybe you should go find some lactose-free milk (make sure to denature the protein first) to pour in a cool bath? ; p

@ grace-like-rain: be careful with those wall walks. i tweaked my wrist pretty good today because i didn't protect it adequately. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

awwww. i wish i could tan a little. i know it's not "good" for you, but my whole family just has that nice skin that turns golden in the summer. meanwhile i would just burn and peel. and burn and peel. eventually the freckles multiply and i've got a slightly darker coloring from that.

however, on the upside, i'm told that i'm good to take on camping trips as i'm a bit of a human glow stick. and you could probably read from the light from my tummy. hahahaahaha. sigh.

oh well, thank heavens for self-tanner, right?

and yes, i want to see the TAN LINES! ; p what else did you do at camp? for fun, that is???

My son just came up to me and said, "I see you have a new canvas on your painter's easy-el. You can paint sumfing new now. I know you can do it! You will do really REALLY GOOD! And then I will say Yay mom you did so good!"

I guess I'd better paint something. Can't disappoint my biggest fan.

Well...there were games! ...I didn't play them. Umm, the most I really participated in was praise and worship, message, and then the final relay race that everyone has to participate in. I fell last year. I fell again this year. This time, I did one better - I fell in the MUD!

To be honest, emotions and tiredness made the week not so fun for me. Then, they gave all of the teams at camp different chores...that stunk.
