I'm not a Star Wars fan either. I haven't even watched Star Wars 1 or 2. Part of the reason is because I was forbidden from watching movies (and we were forbidden from owning a TV), and part of the reason is because I just cannot relate to science fiction genre. I am not a fan of Star Trek series either. 
The only science fiction movie I have truly appreciated has been Interstellar.

I've seen 1 and 2 when I was like 6 years old so I don't remember anyone except Skywalker. 4, 5, 6 - no thank, you. But I am excited for The Force Awakens, I think because of all the hype. It will probably be great anyway and worth watching

I'm just impatient for January to get here. People will calm down from the Christmas hype, the whole Star Wars hoopla will be over and maybe I can have a conversation with someone about something interesting for a change. Right now I feel like everybody around me has been hired by Disney to advertise their big new movie.

3 of my co-workers are pretty much obsessed with Star Wars.. So I know what you mean.. But luckily for me.. One of them is now on vacation and won't be back till next week, the 23rd that is lol. So when she gets back from vacation, we get to hear ALL about the trip to Disney world... Can you tell I'm excited...?
Had a very scary dream tonight... I was driving at night through this town and everything was quiet with no other cars on the road. I was stopped at a red light when I noticed a figure in a black hooded cloak walking towards the intersection along the sidewalk. I could not see the face because it was completely in shadow. It looked just like death was approaching so I high tailed it out of there. A moment later I saw the same figure walking along the side of the street ahead of me. That's when I knew it was probably a ghost or something evil so I once again high tailed it out of there! But as I turned the corner I saw it again. I was terrified now and I turned a different direction and floored it. Then I saw it again but this time I stopped and started praying out loud the Lord's prayer in desperation. That prayer always helped me before when I felt scared and I expected the figure to disappear but to my surprise it looked like it was mocking me by putting its hands together like its praying. This really frightened me because I felt like the prayer was powerless against this figure whatever it is...
The next thing I know it was running straight towards me and this time I could see in the headlights that it was a lady with long wavy blonde hair, but it still scared me to death because she was running towards me with this blank look on her face. The next thing I know she is sitting right next to me! I noticed that she was actually attractive and did not seem evil at all so I calmed down a bit but was still in complete shock. The next thing I remember is her relaxing with her hood off and smiling and me thinking she may actually be some kind of angelic being. Then I remembered a true story I heard about a lady dressed just like her who mysteriously appeared at a car accident during a rainstorm where they were trying to save a man's life. When she appeared, the ambulance lost all power and everyone there saw her open a bible and pray for the dying man and they say that she didn't appear to get wet from the rain. Then she mysteriously disappeared and the power came back to the ambulance and the man was completely healed. I wondered if she was the same woman in my dream. Or maybe I'm just crazy. :/

You haven't missed much. In honor of the "Three Truths and a Lie" thread, I will provide a recap in that thread's form. You guess which one is not true:
1. Everyone is excited about the new Star Wars movie coming out and geeking out with Yodaspeak. There is even a thread devoted to it now.
2. Tintin finally went full bonkers and has been revealed to be a catfish with multiple personality disorder. His evil self has been the notorious troll, Jack, all along!
3. Siberian Kudzu wants to do pull-ups, but it's too cold.
4. We learned that many CC-ers do stuff while driving...besides driving.
