So you know you travel too much when you start talking about your weight loss in terms of airline baggage allowances:

Yeah I've lost X kilos so far. That's two carry-on bags worth.

Also if you are an American who has become rather comfortable talking about weight in kilos, you might travel a lot (or live overseas).

Feeling like I am banging my head against the wall again. Frustrated, a bit discouraged, disappointed. I should probably be sleeping.

This is funny. I think of weight loss in terms of bags of sugar or flour. Which you'd think would mean that I cook a lot. But... no.

my girl is graduating tomorrow, from her Christian school. Because of funding issues, they now only go to eighth grade.
And she has friends going different directions next year. We've discussed home schooling, but it's up in the air. Praying for His guidance...

Ok. Translated story tests are sent to bosses. Stories to be tested are prepped and ready to test. I declare myself officially on break for the next 24-36 hours. :D

It's true that love can change us
But never quite enough
Sometimes we are too tender
Sometimes we're too tough

At this point I'd be happy with even just a hand-held clutch's worth of weight loss! :)

(Sigh. Chocolate-covered raisins... Rum raisin ice cream... I blame it all on the raisins!)

I haven't lost any weight, but I'm telling you what, my sweet tooth has slowly been diminishing. Not that I have a problem with it. Oh, no. I'm happy that I don't want as much of that stuff. I just find it odd. We'll see how long it lasts.

It's not like I've been eating healthier, though. I mean, I'm eating within my dietary bounds, but those are till more vast than you think. Gluten-free chicken nuggets and smiley potatoes definitely count. >.< I'm still a bit of a potato addict. Blah. Though I started out my day pretty good today. Some farm fresh eggs and thawed sliced peaches. Tasted pretty good. Now if I only could have incorporated a veggie with that.

I should find a way to make a me-friendly quiche. ...The search is ON!!

I make no-crust quiche all the time! Can you have dairy? I'm sure there's a way around that if so. I usually use eggs from a farm down the road, raw cream from a dairy farm, spinach, bacon, and cheeeeesse. So delicious. :D

My coworkers are both frustrating and hysterical.

I'm going to attempt to compose music to lyrics a friend wrote. *fingers crossed*

3 day weekend is almost here!

I can have goat's milk as long as I'm careful (just about a month or so ago I discovered the wonderfulness of goat's milk ice cream), but cow's milk is a nightmare for me. Though, butter I've always been able to have. Butter is bae. lol But that sounds AMAZING. I've also had some with broccoli in it before. Spinach is pretty amazing. I don't have it often enough, and I need to make a habit of eating more of it! That'd be a perfect way to do that.

Translation: I got a lot of work done today (well yesterday now) and now I'm taking a day off. And I'm very happy to do nothing work related today.
