On a completely unrelated note...the coil in our oven just broke in three places.

:( Well at least they're replaceable.
No kidding! It was just kind of random how it happened....my older sister was cooking and she saw flames in the oven and so she turned it off. After the flames went out, she turned the oven on and asked me to check on the food. I opened the oven, and it wasn't even very warm. I looked down at the coil...and got my oldest sister and asked her I'd the coil was supposed to look like that (I figured the answer would be no...but it doesn't hurt to ask, right?). Her reply was, "Oh...crap." Lol.

And Dad was just kind of like, "Okay, guess we gotta get it replaced."

I've had flames in the oven before... but it wasn't the coil. Just my sad attempts at cooking. :p

I've had flames in the microwave before. I was visiting Mom up in east TN and I put a bowl of something in to cook and a flame jet shot out from the side. I mean a flame JET, like it went halfway across the interior. This was not how I thought a microwave was supposed to cook stuff...

That's actually a DIY-er. I bet you can buy the coils at Home Depot or Lowe's, and if not, Amazon. It's not even 20 minutes of work.

Cool! I think that's what Dad plans in doing. I'm just glad it wasn't irreparable. And it happened at a good time. Today isn't a busy day where we have to have dinner made or we're screwed.

I had to do this for ChandlerFan.
Just for me, huh? While I probably would've voiced my own excitement without trying to rub it in anyone's face, Seattle is a great team whose defense kept the game within reach until they were able to win due to a series of plays that just happened to go their way. I think Green Bay humbled them, though, which is what they needed. I think that was really the Super Bowl right there. I have a feeling that game will be better than the one we see in a couple weeks.

I hear ya.

I have this big fear that I am going to miss out on my "soulmate" because I will judge her for writing "loose" instead of "lose..."

...or "should of" instead of "should have."

Why did the creators of English make the language strange? seriously do we really need 3 ways to say there. what about to? why do you build a building? also why do they say you park on the driveway and drive on the parkway?

My first year in CO I lived with friends in Grand Junction. The oven coil went out on Thanksgiving with the bird in the oven. My buddy and I resorted to finishing the bird in Luau style. We dug a hole, got a fire going, and then buried the bird in coals a covered it over with dirt. A couple of hours later we had a good bird finished.

Hahahahah

I wish you knew Spanish, Wise B.
As I recall from my Spanish classes in HS, Spanish has a lot fewer irregular verbs than English.
