Then pop the hood of your car to check oil or whatever.
I live in the south so it's also a good way to meet guys.

My buddy is single and formerly married like me. One day he says he needs a new couch im like why you never buy anything new. He said ive slept on the couch for years and wear it out so i need a new one so he asks around and somebody is always getting rid of a couch so he picks one up.
I told him same thing i sleep on the couch and they last 5 years and are shot. When i met my wife i slept on a mattress on the floor or just a blanket and i will never go back to set up bed. Best sleep i ever got was night fishing sleeping on the ground perfect weather on the side of a lake no mattress just laying in the grass with the wind blowing.

I saw a movie once where the girl purposely messed something up under the hood to get the guy to fix it for her. I should try this!
The main guy character was "Motorhead" Mike, and the girl removed the distributor cap to get him to fix her car, so she could get his attention. She said she wanted him to take her to the prom, mostly to prevent her class voting her most likely to be a spinster.
I didn't watch the whole movie. It was on while I was somewhere in the area.
That is not all that bad singing to yourself. I have found all women are the same. Which by that I mean when I serenade a gal they all react the same. They have all ran for the hills and suddenly I am single cause my girlfriend has beat feet........LOL
So if I ever get remarried and she request I sing to her at our wedding, I am of course gonna say yes dear, cause I am domesticated. However, I am gonna fake laryngitis the day of wedding and act all disappointed I am not able to sing......LOL

at the bookshop, there was a gift section
some of the gifts were obviously for married couples to give to each other cos they didnt know what else to buy
So I would look at these week after week that never sold on the shelf like...
His and her money box..the her part was a lot bigger than the his
A 'Yes Dear' button that when you pushed it, said 'yes dear' or 'you are always right' and other stuff wives wanted their husbands to say
Cards that said 'to my wonderful wife' 'to my handsome husband'
socks
'man cave' signs
'man flu' coffee cups
picture frames
mens manicure sets with nose hair tweezers
beeswax food wrappers
really tiny books with affirmations inside
everyone ignored these gifts and most people went straight for the tarot cards which sat on the shelf next to them. I dont know if it was wives wanting to put a spell on their hsubands or what, or just there was a huge witch population in my area.

Im like...is this the perfect gift?! Or is it only what wives give to their husbands as some kind of in-couple joke.
Im sure a man can just drink out of a normal, plain coffee cup, and not have to announce hes sick to the world, because you can just tell by looking at him.
