I can't say I enjoy doing laundry. It's a necessity. I throw everything in together. Nothing bleeds colors so it all gets clean and fresh. That's what matters to me.

Kitty-cats are meant to be patted...not do your laundry! However, they can make a mess of your clean laundry. That's allowed...or something! lol

I throw it altogether too. Don't even bother to separate the whites. Actually, not entirely sure if I even have any whites.

thats nice but, what has that got to do with the laundry mat?

Or maybe the church is next door to the laundry mat? Did you get your feets wet?
Maybe they wear dirty clothes to church.

If something accidentally turns purple while I am doing laundry, it is a bonus LOL

I do hope you're talking clothes and not kitties! Kitties are meant for patting, not tumbling dry!

Maybe laundry mats are a social hub of sorts where people meet and
chat about all manner of things while doing a necessary chore

Reminds me of old cartoons where the women would gossip while hanging out their wash ;):D

Or even OLDER times when the women would chat at the riverside while doing the wash...

Laundry mats could also be a good place for singles to meet. You nailed it. They can be very much a social hub. I love old cartoons.

Or a lot of pink and purple formerly white shirts.🤔
I must admit, I do like a nice crisp white. My daughter informed me the other day that she wore
white shorts that took no time at all to get dirty and she wondered why people even wear white LOL

And as a pet owner, we know better than to wear black, also

Black and white are reserved for very special occasions

There's a bit of nostalgia for the resulting children.

Our parents bonded at the Wash,Dry, and Fold after their spin cycles.

I like old cartoons too.

Today is wash day for me I just put a load on
and I DID chuck in my white cords with the rest of my coloured clothes....so we shall see...

the detergent is gardenia and lemon scented eco wash

The sun thankfully is shining.

I also need to do the library throws and cushions at the end of term this week.
