what..laundry?

With God, nothing is impossible.

BTW stainless steel wire pegs are great, they dont rust, break, chip or rot like plastic or wooden pegs. Sort of like a cross between paperclips and bulldog clips.

If you want somewhere to hang out, my rotary washing line is a fun place to be. Especially on laundry day - which has now been reinstated to Monday.

Between 9am and 10 when the dew has gone is the best time to hang out your washing.

Put a load on first thing and it will be done in an hour to hang out in the sun. Then you have the afternoon free to dry it but you need to bring in the washing before 4pm.

I don't have a clothes line, though my first wife would hang the laundry out to dry. It would smell so good! She was a good wife.

Speaking of a first wife, my first wife would hang me out to dry. She never did my laundry, or cook dinner, or any type of housework. I did all of that stuff after working all day. Horrible wife.

I have room in my backyard for a clothes line. Or maybe get one that spins. My load today came out clean though and smells fresh.

Yeah, a rotary washing line would be best. That way I don't have to dig holes for the posts or stringing rope.

Here's the follow up... not as amusing though likewise informative ;)

There are few things I hate more than advertising. There are rare exceptions. This is one of them.

You just need ONE hole for a rotary line

I noticed the next door neighbours one broke though, and they didnt fix it, so now they just hang their washing on air dryers and hangers and racks on their front porch deck, so it looks like a clothing shop /outdoor wardrobe on wash days.

They dont put their washing on the fence, though I air my blankets on our verandah/decks wall or whatever you call it.

Your blankets probably are crisp and fresh. I can imagine the scene at the neighbors. Probably looks like a clothing thrift store.

well
that whats it looks like
but, least the clothing isnt on the fence that we share. My other neighbour said they look like renters but they arent, they own the house

Just cant be bothered fixing things when they break, but then homeowners have other priorities, like paying bills of course and keeping on top of mortgage, even while the home is falling apart all around them and depreciating lol

Theres a noxious weed growing at the back of their garage and all the seeds were falling into my garden so I got a weedbuster to poison it for them as they completely forgot about it. Otherwise we're good. People dont have time to fix stuff.

The other neighbour on the other side fence fell down in a storm, and the landlords just fixed half of it. They did the same when their tree collapsed on their roof, they just fixed half the roof.

its cos landlords now have ten other properties and thats just too many to look after at once. I dont feel sorry for landlords, If they buy ten properties its their responisbilty to look after that many. They wanna mow ten lawns, and stop ten roofs from leaking, then they do it.

anyway.
I recall one time my friends washing machine broke down and she wanted to use ours out it seemed it never occured to her she actually could use a laundromat, which is open most hours of the day.

I could charge her to use ours though? In the end she didnt and got it fixed, but at the time I thought what a cheek lol

Her first inclination should have been using the laundry mat instead of being intrusive in asking to use yours.
