No I made me a homosexual because as a child you're not an age where you can figure out why this was. I ultimately made me a homosexual cause I never thought I was good enough for my Father. So this is my fault, and my fault only, because even as a kid you still have free will.
Well, really, it hardly matters how you became homosexual.

We are all sinners. What matters is you acknowledge your sin and repent of it.

I added ^ that ^ to my last post.

The truth is, none of us are good enough. That is why we need Jesus .:)

To prevent trauma from coming to anyone's household. This isn't just about homosexuality, this is about almost anything.
Well, many people here have suffered trauma in our families and I'm sure most of us can relate. All I can say is Jesus loves you and wants to heal you if you'll let Him.

Hurt people hurt people. Dad still hurts and Mom still hurts, and now I hurt. Understand? Does this help?

I just want you guys to know how to combat this if any of your children are experiencing the same thing. The reason why kids act out is because they weren't given the proper care and love in their own household. That's why for 17 years I chased things just to feel good about myself. I needed a Mother's love, or some type of feminine love, cause I'm a lost child.

but thank you Magenta for the encouragement.
You are welcome. Arcturus is interesting. What is your connection to it?

We were all lost at some point. The problem with chasing things to make you feel better about
yourself is, enough is never good enough. The nature of the beast is always to want more, and now.

Another part of the problem is that on our own, we cannot overcome the natue of the beast.

Well...for now I'm just going to remain a trainwreck, because it's who I am right now. No I'm not going to date anyone, because shoot, my life is all kinds of crazy now, but I just have to be real with myself. I'm a trainwreck, and I don't feel like conforming right now (not with the law, I'm just talking about spritually). I just pray to God and maybe he'll find me a way out of this somehow...but for now I'm gonna let God guide me and see what happens....

No I'm glad, and I do want to apologize for being rough. I understand that the energy
I put into these posts can be really angry energy, but it's purely out of love.
You do not come across as being rough or angry at all. Quite the contrary.

Misinformed? Yes. Misdirected? Yes. But not angry or rough.

Many who come here defending such sin do get/already are quite angry.

Angry about having their lifestyle choice depicted as sin and against God, our Creator.

I think you're on the right track (praying to God and let him guide you).

The Apostle Paul wrote most of the books in the New Testament, which are really letters to the groups of Christ followers he personally started in various cities.

In one letter Paul writes that he prayed to three times to have God remove a "thorn in his flesh". Paul doesn't specify what that is, but he does tell us what God replied. He said, "my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."

"I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong." 2 Corinthians Chapter 12.

We don't know what God will or won't do for any specific individual until they ask him. Sometimes the answer is "my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." There's something more important than our circumstances. I thought it might interest you to find out what Paul means. Don't be afraid to join a church and bible study. We really do nothing on our own. And "nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

From Paul's Romans chapter 8:

"In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God."

"No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

?
Is it your dad touched you inappropriately or your mum hit you. From what age.
So are you seeking fathers love?
am not sure how you can 'make yourself homosexual' but it is wrong to be sticking things where they are not supposed to go. God didnt create us to be sexual toys and playthings. Satan tries to defile us by abusing our bodies in this way.
This goes for both hetero and homo type attractions. Im not really sure how God feels about gay marriages probably the same as adulterous marriages (people mucked over/burned through or cheated on their first loves and divorced to marry again to legitmise their union) that its the lesser of two evils. But two wrongs dont really make a right and its only by grace we are saved. Because while gay marriage might be a thing thats all lovey dovey etc a few years down the line many of those marriages may be headed for gay divorce...when one or both become 'unfaithful'

God is our Father you can go to Him through Jesus and he can heal you of this trauma. Put your faith in God . He is not a man that He can lie to you.

If we focus on ourselves, our hurt, etc. we will nevoer focus on Him, as required, if we want HIS healing we must be His people. Never accept anything that perverts the Created order.

Jesus has a healing touch, not a creepy touch. Give your trauma to him. Whether it was abandonment, neglect or whatever in the past when your young brain was unable to process the reasons why
we'll pray for you. You can come to Jesus as a child he wont forbid you.

God also has femimine qualities did you know He is described as a mother hen with chicks under her wings? The holy spirit is often referred to as the helper and wisdom as female. You are after something missing that is spiritual not bodily/flesh. Ask God to fill that hole in your heart.

I’m praying for you. Strange or as unorthodox as it may seem …. I have a cousin who is being drawn back to the God of the Christian Bible through a statement that a Buddhist teacher made that he read. It’s to the tune of “If you can follow the religion of your tribal family do so” so this cousin of mine picked up on that….. following a Buddhist teacher is now beginning to be drawn back and wooed to Christianity. Amazing how Our God can use foolishness to make himself known. If God can work through a false religion such as Buddhism He can draw you back as well away from wherever you are straying to. 🙏

Here we go again. False religion, seriously? Did you know that Buddhism actually compliments Catholicism and vice-versa?! Seriously, you can do your research and there are many parallels to both religions.

I don't understand what is going on here, but we shouldn't try to make blanket statements like "Buddhism being a false religion." There is no such thing as a false religion. All religions exist for a reason. That's all I'm going to say.

isnt Catholicism false as well?

I think its Orthodox who claim they are the 'one true church' or maybe its the 7th day adventists. They all have claims.

Many Christians are actually NOT religious

Buddhism does not even necessarily acknowledge that there is a God.

So calling it a religion could be a misnomer. It is more a philosophical world view.

False religions exists because people do not want to acknowledge the One True God.

Yeah, sorry/not sorry if your need for tolerance cannot tolerate that.

Christianity is by nature and definition exclusive.

You are either a child of God, or you are not.
