you write the librarian a note, because librarians like to read.
I have found that writing back and forth is an excellent way to establish an enduring relationship.

I've given her many different things. And I've even cleaned her room a little better then some of the others. She loves having her carpet cleaned. The other day I gave her a sticky pad dispenser. I took in to her, and said, I was just thinking about you. She loves the color blue, and the paper is blue. Yeah, I try...
Write her a nice letter on blue stationary.

Anyways I just want to forgive you and move on. Besides that, whenever you said something I agreed with, I gave you a "like" or "I agree with you" reaction. I believe in giving people credit where credit is due. And when I think someone is wrong, and it gets in my way, I often tell them. For nearly a quarter of my life, I was bullied in school, and so I hate it when people give me crud, or seems to be nit picking at me.
Wait, what? Forgive Sub for WHAT exactly? He didn't do anything to you except try to help you make posts people will actually read, then comment about how upset you got that he was trying to help you.

Have you noticed everybody who has commented on this matter has had the same opinion about you being wrong? Does that tell you anything?

HELLO! This is packet data! HELLO!

Whoops! That last part actually wasn't supposed to come out. I usually just yell it in my head in silent frustration. Sorry about that.

Im not sure I get along with all teachers, some teachers are just too bossy lol

also, they need to make everything into a lesson.

sounds like you are courting a teacher though.
You got to understand how everything got started... She started it. I just always tried to keep things heading in a good direction.

She's hard to figure out. She's basically my age, and still single. Which I think is a head scratcher, because I'm almost 43. I partly understand why I'm single. It's always harder for an an average looking guy or less, to get a woman. Plus, I work second shift all the time. Plus I don't have a good social group, like a good church or anything. So outside of my other issues, it kinda makes sense that I'm single. But her? That's a head scratcher! She's attractive, She's a believer, She goes to Church, She has friends both at work and outside of work. So I don't get it.

It all started out with her giving me cupcakes, every time they had a class party. Then there was the day she winked at me. Every now and then I catch her looking me over. Maybe she's checking me out? I don't know... But she seems kinda moody. Like she just gets into a mood, you know...

So am I actually courting her? Well.... I'm sure that I would call it that. Most of the time when I buy her stuff, it's to help her out in some way. Or helps with conversation. She likes C.S. Lewis, and so do I. So some of the stuff was books.

It tells me you guys are online bullies who are disrespectful. :( In real life you give your suggestion, and if that person rejects the suggestion, then you just drop it. I reject it on the basis that I don't think He told me the correct way, and I took the time to explain why I disagree with him. After that you all just started teaming up against me. If you keep this up, I'll just haft to keep hitting the report button and see what happens.

I don't know what I'm doing with her. This has been going on for about 6 to 7 years now. One of the biggest problems is our jobs. I'm afraid of getting into trouble with the school policies.

So you just admitted you won't take good advice if it's delivered in a way you don't like? Can't say I think that's a very good life strategy.

um

? good advice...
I dont think I would call it that!
Dont know why some ppl insist on being bullies on here. Just stop it already.

If someone posts asking for help, why the need to put a person down for even asking.

seeking Christ, grew up only child, he said so! so why not treat him like a BROTHER, not an outsider. He obviously needs that, not a bunch of people putting him down.

anyway as said before, sometimes you just have to ignore some people on CC...

No no no. You grabbed the wrong lesson from this. The lesson you should have gotten is, "These people are sharp enough to recognize a social manipulation tactic when they see it. If I try to shift blame by saying I forgive you, they won't hesitate to call me out on it."

Good luck wearing out that report button. Let us know how that works for you.

Have you noticed people are only teaming up against you in this particular thread?

That's because you are not acting this way in the other threads. You are actually pleasant, informative and easy to talk to in everything except this thread.

I don't know if she is sweet on me or not. She's vague. One time she gave me a valentines that have a happy valentines day, my name, and then love, her name. I remember that threw me for a loop. But I guess some kid gave it to her, and so she used me to get rid of it.

I compare her moodiness to other women. I just find her to be extra moody. At least it's more noticeable.

I can't make a comment on your workplace. But I can tell you about mine. A lot doesn't get done because the School doesn't want to pay for enough people to do a good cleaning. In fact we have less people now, then we had when I was first hired. Currently I make less money then people who work making fast food.
I don't like posting miss information. I wrote this late at night. I probably should of been in bed. I remember I wasn't in the mood to go looking up information on google searches. Today I did a little searching. I can't remember where i heard about the fast food wages. But after I googled it, it appears that the fast food wages varies depending on where you live in the States. I was able to find one website that seemed to say that they make as much money as I do. But most sites that I found seemed to be saying less. So I don't really know. I just wanted to make this correction.

what?

well, I had WOMEN say happy valentines to me and I wondered why they just said thats what they do they just say it to everyone.

ar first I thought how weird but then Im like whatever if they want to confuse ppl i guess thats what the day is for I dont care. (sounds a bit callous but, I thought it was for couples only)

As for workplace romances I had one guy I worked with YEARS ago still trying to send me stuff. He got it in his head we were togehter when all I did was go out with him a few times as a FRIEND. I didnt even know that I was meant to see him as a romance. I just thought thats what friends do. I thought if you were truly interested in someone you made it clear by sending FLOWERS not be vaguely hinting or suggesting inappropriate stuff.

example, send me random links on my work email, Um no, am not going to click on whatver it is when its not work related.

In 18 years! No other teacher has ever, ever, ever, given me a valentines before! Single or otherwise. That's why it threw me for a loop. So went and thanked her. She spread her arms out and said, "I'm just spreading the love" I looked at her and thought to myself: "Oh Ok, I think I'm going to get you back" I wrote her a poem. lol Don't ask me what she thought of it. I gave it to her, and never heard anything. But I did an interestingly vague sticky note, thanking me for everything, next to a smore. I scratched my head, because it was I've gotten sticky notes from her before, but this time the wording was a little different then what I'm used to getting from her. I wanted to show another lady to get her point of view, but I was the only one left in the building so ate the smore, and threw the note away. It was the last day of the year.

Sounds complicated. Uncomplicate it, just ask her if she would like to go out for dinner or something else. Her reply of yes or no should resolve any questions as to what the situation is, just friends or perhaps more. Then armed with that info you can pursue either a fuller friendship or something more.

I can't afford to loose my job over her, so I'm not going to take the chance of asking her out. I think things have finally gotten to the point to where we won't be communicating much anymore anyways. That is unless she surprises me. But I think she's ready to finally ready to move past whatever "thing" we had. You can call it whatever you want. I don't care. Teachers are weird, in my opinion. Often times I've asked myself, and even God, why did this haft to happen at work? I always told myself I wouldn't date anyone from work, it's too dangerous.
