Not the entire city, no.. See, we get the water and ice from other towns, so in addition to our own, it was too much and the entire town flooded. Main St. and State St. are full of shops that have merchandise in their basements so everything got ruined. Montpelier (and Barre) suffered great financial loss. I cringe every time it rains super hard, because the river out back floods and gets into our basement, where all the electrical stuff is.. I've had to evac 3 times because of flooding, and twice because of the rock ledge across the road which has come down.. I'll post pictures of that later..
