Yes of course they are at war. The US blew up the Nordstream 2 and Russia and Germany both know it. The US gave Ukraine over $100 billion in aid, without that they would have already capitulated.

I lived in Taiwan for 8 years, my daughter is there right now. No one can rule the world without controlling Taiwan because they make the most sophisticated high end computer chips. I have seen Taiwan's defenses first hand and twenty years ago I thought they would be able to deliver a very harsh blow to China if they attacked. I figured they would be able to sink China's ships and troop carriers. I figured the beaches in Taiwan would be much more difficult than the ones in Normandy, France. But that was before I learned that China has tunneled under the Taiwan strait and is able to get troops in unscathed.

You aren't going to convict the US in a UN court for the pandemic or for Nordstream, so they aren't doing this in the hope of some sanction, they are doing this so that when they do attack the US the rest of the world can know why and not retaliate against them.
