here is a good point being made by Mercola:

Conflicts of interest arise when a regulatory agency is funded by the industry it is charged with regulating. Take the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, for example. In years past, the FDA was funded entirely by U.S. taxpayers.

Today, nearly 45% of its annual budget comes from user fees paid by the drug companies that seek approval for a given product. This transition from public to corporate funding has had a significant impact on how the agency operates, and it’s clearly not in the public’s best interest.

Data showing the FDA has gone from a drug approval rate of 38% in 2005 to 61% in 2018. In situations where a drug is aimed at a disease where few medication options already exist, 89% of new drug applications are approved on the first try.

Has drug development simply gotten that much better? Probably not. The fact is that drug companies view the FDA’s user fees as payment for service rendered, and that service includes approval. They’re not paying for the FDA to turn them down.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the FDA issued emergency use authorizations for completely novel types of “vaccine” in a matter of weeks. While some applaud this speediness, it’s worth remembering that as speedy approvals have increased with other drugs, so have the number found to be harmful after the fact.

Yes, some of the standards have been waived or negated in favor of Trump's operation Warp Speed to get the vaccine out in record time. What is your understanding of quantity of deaths that have been substantiated as the vaccine being the cause of death according to VAERS?

This sounds familiar...I'm sure I've read something like this before...something like, “Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.”

I'm on the Oregon west coast. I personally know people who have had accounts with "Bigfoot". I'm not sure why it's something that's scoffed at as there are plenty of creatures in the world that have been undiscovered or are good at hiding. It's not outside the realm of reason. Anyway, I don't need to see a picture to trust my honest, trustworthy Christian friends when they say they've seen "it".

Yeah we can have this debate until the proverbial cows come home but my position hasn't changed. The vaccine works and it's a proven fact

I see, you dont understand the problem.
Without vaccine, we would have much more filled hospital with Covid Patients, we would have more killed people through covid. And we would have much more restrictions then we have now.
The Winter in europe is coming, and the expections are there that the number again will increasing.
You may agree or not.
To have no vaccine is no option for to fight a virus.

Last I heard it was 15,000 but I have not been keeping up.

What do you think those numbers mean though, do you think their all C-19 deaths or deaths from any vaccine? Did you click on the other tabs and read what the CDC said they mean?

I don't care. I have natural immunity, I have already recovered. I am not about to take an experimental vaccine. I don't care if you take it, or if everyone else on the planet takes it. If it is perfectly safe then that will be obvious in one or two years, I am very happy to wait that long. This thread is not about the vaccine, it is about getting the shot. Those are two different though related topics. I am not getting the shot and as far as I am concerned no one will tell me it works until I see the next two years of people getting shots, booster shots, etc. and seeing what happens to them.

Great,I'm not asking you to take the vaccine,,I didn't even mention it. It just made me wonder what you thought VAERS is and if it's only keeping track of Covid deaths(it's not it's tracking all vaccine related deaths since 1990) So Ebola,STD,Polio ect. are also included. https://wonder.cdc.gov/vaers.html Then they try to explain that the deaths reported are being investigated and so their not sure if a vaccine is responsible yet. https://www.fda.gov/vaccines-blood-biologics/vaccine-adverse-events/vaers-overview Just saying this though because most times when VAERS is mentioned in the threads here it seems that it is thought to be keeping a running record of C-19 deaths when it's not.

You can have covid more than once and even if you do survive it you can pass it on to someone else who might not survive it

Yep and as soon as the vaccine antibodies begin to wane so can the vaccinated.
