Uhhh... this is not the AP or Reuters news service. This is Christian Chat. Did you think you were writing for one of those companies?

The AP and Reuters have made it their policy to not use that term anymore. I made up nothing. Wake up. That which you hail as objective is not.
I don't know what either of those two things are so elaborate maybe?

Both orgs have made it official that they will be politically correct in their descriptions. I.e., they don't want to use terminology that pisses off the Left, like "illegal alien".

Other examples from other sources include the LA & NY Times' decisions to ban all writing countering the LW global warming narrative. When Hamas starts firing rockets into Israel breaking a cease-fire, it's "fighting breaks out" in the headlines, not "Hamas breaks cease-fire".

I watch FNC, despite their rightist leanings because they are are only counter-narrative, and at least their opinion people TELL YOU they're opinion people. They're not editorialists telling you they're objective reporters.

And, sorry if I got snippy with you.

To name a few.
News is often a waste of time unless you pray for situations and keep your focus on the Lord through His Word. Divine perspective is the right perspective. Don't consult the "fact checkers" on that.

None of the "fact checkers" are reliable today where truth is concerned. (If there is [even] one in existence today that is trustworthy, I would sure like to know what it is.)

Back-in-the-day, when Snopes first appeared - it seemed to be pretty good - but, not any more - they got "bought" many years ago.
