I believe Jesus came here to show us how to treat one another. I believe he was hated and killled.
Salvation other ways? I think God will be fair and that truth is found in more than one particular doctrine of faith.

I respect people and their beliefs knowing that I cannot change anyone but myself. I think it is best not to discuss religion with people of other faiths ... all they do is get angry if you tell them that "your way" is the "only way" and that they are going to Hell.

God sent His Son to die to pay the price for our sin. That was why He came. Once someone is born again they can follow Him. Until you are born again you are spiritually dead. Every person you see that is NOT born again, is dead. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE!!

The ONLY way to become born again is to receive Jesus. Please stop perverting the one true Gospel. There is NO other way for men to be saved.

It sounds to me that you have not received Jesus if you think His primary purpose was to teach us how to live, and believe there is some other way men can be saved. You have to be born before you can live. Did your parents teach you how to live before you were born?

If you do not receive Him you WILL die in your sins and be eternally lost. I will continue to reiterate the one true Gospel EVERY time you respond saying that God will save people by ANY other way. That is incredibly offensive to Him who sent His Son to be tortured and die for us.

I wasn't raised with any siblings. The human frailty of needing to fuss, argue and fight constantly eludes me. I've seen it in my own children and it really bothers me. That goes double for Christians. People just forget how lucky we to belong to the family of Christ. Even if there were no hell I'd still rather live with Jesus forever than to rot alone, in a box.

Absolutely agree with you. I hate contentions.

Men have been pointing their finger into the face of God and angrily proclaiming that they will be saved their way or else. This is what Paul is conveying in Romans chapter one.

God because He loves His creation has sent His Son Jesus Christ in like fashion to man so Jesus could become the complete spotless Lamb could make the atonement needed for sinful man. So great a sacrifice that none other could make was made willingly that all who believe could be saved. Men must believe and receive Christ as Savior personal to them to be saved. Jesus will for give their sin but they must come to Him and ask Him to forgive them.

Don't blame fundamentalists for what God has written in His word. Believe what God has written in His word because it is the word of God. Do not fall victim to higher criticism and believe that men know more than God has revealed.

Self righteousness is as filthy rags in the sight of God Isaiah the prophet makes this abundantly clear and Paul continues the thought in Romans.

Let me be clear you are the one who brought your parents into the conversation. You have good cause to be concerned about them both physically and spiritually. You are quite right to be urgently concerned about their welfare and eternal condition..

You must have sound doctrinal advice if you are to aid those in dire spiritual need. Telling someone that they are Ok and everything will be alright if they do not have a right understanding of Christ as their Savior is not helping them. I have seen many unbelieving clergy aid many too many souls enter into eternal condemnation by believing they were good enough and everything would be alright.

I have great hope when the gospel creates offense because through the offense often comes the needed reconciliation with Christ. When you stop defending untruth and receive the truth as the bible teaches you will be reconciled to God,

I neither said your parents were saved or unsaved. I included them to stress that it doesn't matter where you may have heard that people can be saved ANY other way than receiving Christ is wrong and highly offensive to God.
