I’m not so much concerned about the intention.
My family came here to escape persecution during World War I. Our people have always been persecuted.
My grandmother and great aunts were fearful of anyone in uniform, coming to their door, including the postman. They filled my head with caution, fueled by echoes of past abuse by government, I will never forget.
I don’t think this is so much about going after illegals as it is about reinterpreting the constitution in order to align our government with other communist governments.
My caution, considering this government and their actions is not based solely on this one action. But it’s the general confusion and chaos they are causing in the public by their sweeping authoritarian changes.
It seems they are trying to shut down the federal government and trigger an economic crash in order to establish a dictatorship, taking full control of the people.
If you’re not cautious about this government right now then there’s nothing I can say or do to convince you otherwise.
The best thing we can do right now is just focus on the moment, take care of our family and prepare
