It doesn't take long to find the truth if you want to look for it. This man is a hypocrite. He said himself that he voted for Joe Biden. He's got nothing credible to say beyond that. Made some quick cash writing books about Trump, pure hypocrite.

Herein lies the problem, this pastor has a lot to say and a lot of what he states is well founded. :cautious::(

Possibly, but the point is moot of you're willing to look the other way and vote for Biden, which he admits he has done. So he's nothing more than a hypocrite. You can have a discussion about what points he made, but I don't usually give hypocrites my time. Right now we have Biden vs Trump, or Biden light in Kennedy. And if you know anything about the Kennedy's and you're a Christian that can't vote for Trump, you can't vote for him either without being a hypocrite. Kinda of a Mexican stand-off thing goin' on here.

why a change of venue? it was a NY case, a jury trial, and he selected jurors. he was convicted by jurors he approved of.

he had every chance to defend himself and failed to. he attacked the justice system because he could not prove his innocence - and his defense in court did the same thing, attacking the witnesses instead of the facts.

the facts are that he committed multiple counts of criminally attempting to influence the the outcome of free and fair elections.

This trial was not about his attempt to influence the outcome of a free and fair election.
This trial was about bookkeeping and the payment of hush money.

I do agree with you that Christians who support Trump unequivocally are a real problem. It really makes Christians appear as though they cannot reason through the politics and I fear you are in the same place only on the other side.

I have real issues with Trump which you and i completely disagree on, but at least you should be able to recognize that this
trial was a political maneuver.
The selection pool in a place like Manhattan would have overwhelming been Democrats and I am sure his lawyers would have tried to find the least biased among them but it was still a losing pursuit in a very political trial.

That is called “Shooting the messenger”, your rush to judgement may be erroneous. Even if it is correct he is still presenting the message in a Christian manner without calling anyone names.

The crimes were committed in Manhattan.

There is much more to Merchan than meets the eye. Look at where he is a “fellow” at. Hint…DOJ. He is a former prosecutor who is an “acting” judge with 3yrs experience in family court. Also…he is not a natural born citizen. He is from Bogata, Columbia.

Not everyone perceives Biden and the Democratic Party as evil and some of those people may even be Christians.

Trump may also be a hypocrite you know.

I'm not calling him names, he is a hypocrite, flat out. That's a fact. He said he voted for Biden. There is no rush to judgement. He's writing books against people who vote for Trump while voting with Biden. I didn't call him a name.

Where were they committed?
A change of venue can be granted aside form where the crime was committed.

The count was based on breaking federal election law.

This trial was a weaponized trial, if you cannot recognize this singular point based on everything that has been revealed then you are yourself are biased and are letting your emotions towards Trump cloud your judgement.

Seems like you are willing to defend injustice because of who is on trial the very thing all Americans should stand against, I thought justice is blind is the was the very cornerstone of the American legal system?

Mmm humm but my point is about this pastor specifically. He's a hypocrite. And Christians who don't think the Dem party is ok to vote for are either seriously deluded, or like this pastor, simply hypocritical.

I agree, we are in big trouble. But no, it's not ad hom, the pastor said that he voted for Biden while he's out writing books against Christians voting for Trump. If that doesn't deserve the term hypocrite, I don't know what does. It would be like your pastor talking about the evils of porn and then you see him coming out of the local adult sex shop.

What are you saying? That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God?

Yes on a personal level. That does not mean we cannot judge about ethics, morals and illegal activity of a person or a state for the cause of maintaining social order in the church and in society.

The problem is before one makes a judgement one had better have spent huge amounts of time investigating and make sure they can are in a place where they can understand the information and know it on a first hand basis.

A poster is upset because I called a spade a shovel. This pastor has an entire Youtube page devoted to Donald Trump and, justifying why it's ok to vote for Biden but not Trump. He's written books or a book on it, so he's also making money off this nonsense. There is nothing else on the Youtube page. Nothing about how to get saved, no sermons, alllll about why you should hate Trump like he does. Then they're upset with me when I call him a hypocrite after he admitted he's a Biden voter. smh Some people...
