There are two clashing positions over the war in Ukraine.
Biden Administration
The Biden administration supports sending a total of $200 billion to this war that may have killed 500,000 so far without a plan of victory and while we pay for the defense of Ukraine Germany, France and Italy don't. Their workers retire at 50, they have free health care, and in many ways their standard of living and pay is far better than the US.
Maga stance
They are against press gangs, they feel the Ukraine military with an average age of the soldiers in their 40s is untenable, they reject sending money to Ukraine that is not carefully accounted for, they also are against a blank check where they will continue to come back again and again for tens of billions without any plan for victory. They don't want to see Ukrainians killed nor do they want to see Russians killed. They reject the forever wars where arms dealers get rich, politicians have their campaigns paid for, and the loser is the tax payer and the parents of kids killed. In a word MSNBC sums up this position as "pro Putin".
