FBI update and finally they have admitted this is terrorism. The wife pledged to Islam or some such on Facebook just before the shooting. She passed vetting for her visa without a problem.They're saying she radicalized her husband.

They agree they missed this but are saying there are no threats that they know of. Well duh! Why should we trust your word now when you missed it the first time!!!? Police said at a nearby theater someone working there said a man that looked middle eastern came up to him and began asking questions. He said it seemed odd. They said a car was driving around the theater taking pictures. But hey,no known threats out there. Relax everybody.

Yes evil is always going to be present with us...but God has giving us power and strength to defend ourselves ..He has made us strong as a nation and a people ...its the wicked leaders we have that are trying to surrender to the evil of this world.

Yea I watch the news conference ...something up with that theater thing or he would have dismissed it.

Trust me, I hear what you're trying to get across. I'm fully aware of how long this has been taking place despite the fact that I never put as much thought into it as I am nowadays. Again though, it doesn't seize to amaze me that this is what people will choose on their own. As over dramatic as it sounds, it really puts a emphasis on what kind of evil is turning the human race into a cancer among it self. And I don't mean that judgmentally. Because again, this has been going on in some way shape or form since we've been walking on this earth. Just the complete inability to avoid this scenario...crazy.

First of all I don't doubt for a second who's going to remain when this is all said and done, therefore it's impossible for anything to be handed over to evil in relation to what you're saying unless it's God's will. But I think a part of the whole concept of the end times is that hands will be forced. As if there is no escape from it. It's a massive reaping of what was sown prior. And I don't doubt for a second God has put it on the heart for the righteous to defend the righteousness given to them by God. It's just conceptually, it's a shame it couldn't be avoided. Just the entire situation is peculiar and sadto look at as a whole.

Is it just me or doesn't it seem apparent that they already have?

Lol I'm honestly not trying to radiate any form of pessimism. It's just I feel absolutely confident in the Almighty. And thank God for His mercy, I think all of us have seen and heard that which we need to see and hear in relation to understanding that God DOES work within His people. So again, I'm not trying to sound pessimistic, it's just I know who wins in the end :p

What evidence is there that we're a strong nation, though, when we as Christians are so divided? When we as Americans are so divided? We're just as much on brink with another civil war here in the US as we are a war with Islam.

Recheck your history. Islam has had continual uprisings since 600AD and into early 20th century driving as far north as France.
It's had it latest resurrgence in 1979 and has been building since.

The more we discuss this, the more you think about it, the more you think about it, the more conclusions you come to. In the end, God always finds a way. Sounds wishy washy in context because it doesn't take away the fact there will be suffering. It's just in the end, it's good to know there will always be His perfect justice /captain obvious

Has anyone studied who was behind the scenes making a boatload of money during all our previous wars?..... & selling to both sides!

That's right, the super rich.

I heard on the radio today the commentator said that the US needs a war president. Yeah, judging from the media's planned news, we'll be in a major war during the next presidency.

You're missing the point in that it's not just Islam and that it will always be something (see Nazi Germany).

The point is that Islam and the nazis are cut from the same cloth. There was no peace to be made with the nazis and there will be no peace to be made with Islam...and history proves the former and will eventually prove the latter.

And you just reaffirmed my point in that there will never be any peace.. That something like this will continue to happen until either Jesus returns, or the Earth crumbles to dust. No matter what we do.

Even though this is being considered a terrorist attack I researched mass murders a little bit this morning. Starting with Reagen to Obama. These don't include terrorist attacks just mass shootings.

Reagen: 40 dead
Bush Senior: 40 dead
Clinton: 62 dead
Bush: 80 dead
Obama: 178 dead

The reason I looked this up was because I wanted to see if any major laws were passed during the presidency's that would separate the US from Gods Blessings. The only thing I really saw was in 1993 Clinton put into law the Don't ask Don't tell to allow Gays into the Military. If someone knows of any others please share.

Let me try saying this another way... 2015 years of stuff happening. Not just Islam. Lets stop trying to nitpick.. Evil is evil and evil is going to continue to happen until Jesus does return. Who knows when that'll be.

Not to mention the fact that of the innocent lives being ended early due to evil acts here on Earth, quite a bit of these lives can possibly be in hell because they didn't know Christ.. All thanks to things like terrorism.. Maybe I'm the only one thinking this, but I just have trouble wrapping my head around that and it hurts me to see this happening day in and day out.. These people potentially suffer eternally thanks to these extreme acts here on Earth.
